The song "Hysteria" video montage is a mix of previous videos - and more critically imo the concert they did in the USA. Denver Colorado for the 'In The Round - In Your Face Tour 1988/1989'.
Apart from their really early gigs in Germany/France the Denver gig is for me without ANY doubt 'the' most mesmerising concert I sadly never saw. Steve just dazzled, he oozed rock star cool, he played several of hiss Gibson guitars also, his x2 18 string Razors [one white with Kahler - the other red without Kahler]. I implore ALL fans of this band to watch the concert, it is in 2 parts. I have provided the link below.
Steven Maynard 'The Riffmaster' Clark was a true genius, criminally under rated, as Viv has said several times verbatim "90% of what we play Steve left us"....coming from an extremely humble man who is a monster of a guitarist, my view he blows Phil away, and Phil is bloody good as a highly technical guitarist, something the great Joe Satriani would attest to.
But Steve was a genius and the lyrical-musical genius of Leppard, he created the most intricate melofies, harmonies, hooks, bends and riffs that are extremely difficult to replicate, as Viv noted after all these decades "I still can't play Gods of War".
As Phil noted "Steve had quirky tastes, he would listen to something really out there and make it commercial". Elliot has always been the 'driving force' of Leppard but it was Steve who with 'Mutt' created some of rocks most insanely mesmerisingly mind blowing music. Steve Brown from Trixter, who filled in for Phil once said "Steve's guitar parts are like small boxes, impossible to play".
After all these years/decades Leppard are tight as. There are NO backing tracked vocals, Leppard bring it and bring it with NO backing vocals, each member of the band with the exception of 'The Thunder God' are ALL singing their own vocals. Not many bands of Leppard's achievements can boast this.
Along with Van Halen Def Leppard are the only band to have 2 different records be certified Diamond in the US. As of today 'Pyromania' has sold upwards of 25 million records.
'Hysteria has also sold upwards of 25 million units in the US. Leppard has a back catalogue to die for.
That was, and remains Steve's biggest gift - the facts are, and it is a fact, since Steve passed away this band has had limited mainstream success. Yes they have put out some good songs - however Steve, their primary song writer and musical contributor passing robbed Leppard of the musical iconic gifts when Steve was alive.
I still get shivers up my spine when I hear GoW, TLFL, and so many other earlier heavier songs on their first 2 records.
Joe's voice has held up remarkably well when benchmarked against in particular his decades old best mate Bon Jovi. Yes it is raspier - but Joe's abilities vocal wise are timeless.

Steve's creme Les Paul Custom with Kahler/triple pick up humbuckers is simply 'the' best guitar [along with Ace's cherry sunburst] I will ever see, enjoy all.

I didn't use a phone. I held it for 5 hours. Monetization, RUclips can tell you about that. They gave me B@ll$hit about the content and pulled the plug on my Monetization, but I still post it anyway because f#k them

@@andrewstahl1437 Motley Crue finished in Pittsburgh. But then again, we went strictly to see Def Leppard. So it worked out for us, because we left before Crue played.
