    Thank you Sam . There is nothing better that watching some one else doing the process to refresh yourself your doing it right to. I keep my floor and tanks wiped down clean and dry, in that way if there is any leaks they are easy to spot.

    Thanks so much for the video series. As a home brewer with my eye on possibly opening a brewery down the road, I really appreciate the detailed and straightforward content. I agree there is not much out there and your content hit home perfectly. Being a commercial electrical contractor for 30+ years and my whole family in the trades, seeing the process you struggled with in getting to where you are is exactly how I envisioned the entire process, including all the bureaucratic red tape. I have always been totally hands-on and appreciate your candid take on the process, down to the OCD "issue", I know the struggle. Anyway, thanks for all the hard work in putting these videos out, I know how distracting it can be to everything else going on. Just know it is greatly appreciated.

    Fantastic content, please do more of these. I'd be curious to see the process of carbing the beer via the carb stone. Also, it would be super interesting to see a brewday on your bigger kit with more practical tips for that size of brewing: how to use the rakes (I assume you got them), how to not collapse your grain bed when transferring to the kettle, doing the whirlpool, running the beer through the hop filter and through the heat-ex, etc. Keep up the good work!

      @@flamingalahbrewingco That's amazing! Can't wait! And thanks again; you are doing all the aspiring home-turning-pro brewers a great service. 🫡 RUclips is severely lacking content in that area.

    thanks for the video and the step by step tutorial, my questions; how long before the filling of the unitank you do this assembly? 1 day? 2 days before filling? do you sanitize the tank extra before filling if the time before filling takes too long? thanks in advance for the answers! Cheers from The Netherlands

    very nice video, thank you. Can you please share your passivation acid ratios?

    • @flamingalahbrewingco
      @flamingalahbrewingco  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Thank you
      You’ll need a MSDS (material safety data sheet) to figure out the ratio you’ll require depending on the product you’ll be using.
      We use 70% Nowcid which is a mixture of nitric acid & phosphoric acid, 30% water
      Cheers

    Thanks for another great video; what do you do to get the tank sanitised for the wort? Do you run a CIP loop on the day of brew + which sanitiser do you use, and do you rinse it off?

    • @flamingalahbrewingco
      @flamingalahbrewingco  3 месяца назад

      Yes, the tank is CIP just before the transfer occurs. Video on this process is in the pipeline. We use a no rinse sanitiser.
