I was at work during community day but I was able to play for a few minutes and the first togetic I clicked was shiny. The only shiny I was able to get, but I did stack some candy thankfully. Hope everyone had a solid weekend 💪🏼

You should do a challenge to hit the same com day twice. Once in a early time zone and fly to a late on on time. I landed in SFO “before” I took off in Singapore one time.
I caught 7 Shinies 2 of Theme forba friend who couldn't Play during the Community Day, because he was playing a Football Game. The other one is for my Aunt.

And then I got a hundo hatched togepi, BUT it was a day after from a random unhatched egg that was left from the com day... So I missed the opportunity to evolve it and get the com day move. Which brings me to the question: the december community day is about all the pokemon that we had during the year, right? Do they get their com moves that day too? Thanks.
I got about 4 shinies from the first 3 hours but for the rest of the day I got a horrible migraine and couldn’t play for the rest of the day. So it was a good community day though.
I got 33 shinys including a shiny pawniard that I hatched. I also got 7,000+ candys and 747xl candys. AND on top of that I reached lvl 40 so overall a great event 😊
Of all the Community Days, this was the first one where I got zero shinies. Granted I did get a few Hundos, but no shinies what so ever. Even my Guild friends were surprised.
It took me and my girflriend like 40 mins but the last 20 mins we each got 6x shinnies each. They honestly look the same as the original so you didnt miss much. If you're in Vancouver I can trade you one!

I played with my boyfriend and he caught the shundo in the wild. I was so focussed on his bragging (neither of us had ever caught a shundo before) that I wasn't paying attention to my own catches and used a regular pokeball on the hundo, which then fled 😭. Heartbreaking day. Still caught 12 shinies before my phone died halfway through including a shiny nundo and got 2 random other shinies as well, so overall still a great event and by far the best luck we'd ever had 😂😂
Put your groundon that you have primal evolved as your buddy and you will gain primal energy for it when you earn a candy for walking.... I gain 100 primal energy every time I get a candy walking with him

You can walk with a groudon and get primal energy, I suggest walking like 19.5 and using a poffin cause then you can get 200 primal energy with 20km

I got like 28 shinies in total so wasn't too bad sitting in one spot at a restaurant. But IV weren't that great and the best was 98%.

I had a mega charizard from doing a raid (landerouse) and had a weather bost so when I used a silver pinap I got like 30 candy each catch
