    Hello Peter.
    Here's my question:
Do you have a view on how to trade in and around the 2-minute explosion which takes place before every horserace now? It doesn't matter when the race goes off, but when the clock signals 2-minutes before the official off time we always see considerable amounts of money come in, prices fluctuate wildly and then settle. This happened at Cheltenham for every race as well. I'd be interested in your thoughts. Thanks a lot.

How would you set up a routine for people who have a full time job (8-4)?
And not really about trading tips, but who do you feel are the genuine/good guys of the industry? I've always gotten a good impression from you and Caan, while some others feel more sketchy. Who are "your" guys?

Hey Peter I think a very important question as far as I am concerned is in Horse race trading which strategies suits which types of races, that would be a tremendous help to us beginners, even a clue would help, and obviously save so much time and money searching. Thx.

Hi Peter, I would like to ask you if you could elaborate on how to build your own model on a mathematical level to apply to football matches and perhaps which model would be best suited for this purpose. And especially what knowledge is needed to implement a model. If you could give us some hints for those who are starting out and would like to try to anchor their choices as much as possible in solid objective data instead of personal opinions. Thank you so much!!
    Many greetings from Italy 😉

My question Peter is not about trading but betting. I enjoyed your video about backing winning favourites, is this your most profitable type of bet, or would be grateful for any other types of betting you are successful with. I mainly bet weekends on horses and a little bit of football. Thanks for your work and time 👍

It would be really handy to have a few more options on the green up function so at present you can green up for an equal PL but I often want to green up with one side returning zero and so the other side gets more of the profit.

Hi Peter, I would like to know three things:
    1. How long took you from start trading horse racing and finding a method with + EV?
    2. What do you think of the future of exchange? I’ve recently moved to Germany and unfortunately betfair does not offer their services in Germany anymore. It seems the industry is killing the exchange just to focus on bookmaking and “the house always win” side of business.
    3. Would you offer by any chance a classroom course? I know you did in the past, but also know a lot has changed since then.
    Thank you.

I simply would like to know what pointers you use for pre race scalping. I can't seem to get my head around it? 🤯

    • @Chris-zc7my
      @Chris-zc7my 2 месяца назад

Dont scalp the markets until 2 minutes from post time. Make sure high liquidity and money is hitting the market. Always watch the betfair video while actively trading, never trade without the video.
Learn to cue positions in the market early so they get to the bottom of piles of money meaning your matched 1st this is highly important for scalping for single ticks. Dont panic if the market moves away from you, never chase the price movements, let the market come to you.
RACE QUALITY IS CRUCIAL - scalpers need to look for strongly formed markets where volatility is less likely to catch you on the wrong side of the book. ( GROUP or Grade 1-2-3, Handicaps )Tv exposure also attracts more betting and money into markets. Weaker betting markets will be volatile and prices can move considerably for no logical reason. ( Maidens and Novices ) best for swing trading.
My advice learn about race types, not horse form! and which races will be more suitable for scalping. I would say 70% of races are volatile and should be treated with a swing trade approach. The remaining 30% might be suitable for steady scalping.

I understand your favourite type of trading is using order flow on the racing markets, in particular the large meetings due to the conditions they provide allowing you to win more frequently. If those conditions are large volume, constricted trading ranges and slower moving markets, why do you not focus as much on pre match football trading as surely they present similar characteristics?

    Hello Peter
I want to ask what you do in tennis match when you Lay the player who is break up and there is no rebreak and he wins the set. Do you close for loss and switch on other match ? Or you search for opportunity to recover the loss ?
You lay before the match strong fav and if the player is not break down and wins the set you close your position after the set is finished or you wait until the end of the match ?
Last question, when you decide to stop trading tennis match? After target profit is meet, after 2,3, etc breaks/rebreaks occur in current set or maybe if player reach 4-5 games in current set.

Hi, We would love to do this but the licensing costs are horrendous. This is a common problem we have, there are lots of things we would like to do, but the cost of doing it is often prohibitive.
Lots of sports monetise the data and while we could find a way around this, if pulled up on it's use, it could be fatal.

I suggested to Betdaq during a recent meeting they reach out to the community, so I've not got involved to ensure I don't accidentally steer any dicussion.
Betdaq is much bigger than is has been before and I often use it at major meetings.
With regard to upgrades. Historically, people said if we upgraded it, they would use it more. So we upgraded it and...... there was no pick up in usage. So that sent us a clear message that adding features and upgrades makes no difference to usage.
It's a free product, so we need usage to be way above where it is now for us to consider any upgrades.

I said during the video, I'd reply with some answers on a new video. But it wouldn't be immediate as other videos are in front of it.

Why do you never/not in the last few years at least , show ' training ' videos from the big meetings eg Cheltenham and Ascot where you win your biggest trades ? You say they trade differently to normal days but don't show us your techniques.

I typically cover this in the run up to these big meetings - ruclips.net/video/lk-tB9CiMK8/видео.html
