I just realized that Cael and Yianni are the only 4xers NOT to win their fourth and a team title in the same year. Goes to show how good these guys teams were.
This kid won because every grip in EVERY position was a vice grip. I feel only a top wrestler can be a 4 time. Maybe not to ride out but to ride when crucial.
@@daricklapaglia4337 yes. Oliver and Ramos were the only real threats. And he beat Ramos with zero doubt. Port and Carter were boring controlled matches that everyone knew he would win. That’s called super soft in my book.
@@saljablo2767 you’re looking at finals. He beat Ramos in the semifinals a different year as well as that dude, what’s his name?? The Zain train. Sometimes guys draw someone in the finals that upset some people. Happens every year. None of what i said and what you said matters. He won 4 state titles in high school in Ohio, 4 BIG championships and 4 NCAA’s. You don’t luck your way into that. Your comment might be one if the dumbest comments i have ever seen.
Being from Illinois, I wish Ramos would've beat him. He definitely should've gotten the two count, but Logan's victory in that match was more convincing to say the least.
Even though it’s so stupid the ncaa didn’t have this rule to begin with, I think even though JO did get robbed it definitely should’ve happened the way it did because even though he got robbed, the robbery revolutionized the ncaa and introduced challenge bricks and review. They should’ve introduced it earlier and it be JO’s match but I’m glad they added it sooner rather than later because of a robbery. It sucks that’s how the challenge bricks and reviews were introduced but at least they’re in the ncaa and no more robberies like this can happen and I think also the referee is at fault. No party from either university is at fault the NCAA is all at fault but at least they made up the best they could
About 13 years ago, when I was 14, I learned a turn on top from Logan that I still use to this day! Grateful I was at that camp
Remember watching him in highschool. 💪🤙
I had the opportunity to meet the Steiber family at the Burner wrestling camp in Ohio. Great family! Awesome video!
Hunter is pretty funny.
And also a World Champion.
"My coaches put together a really good game plan the first part of it was don't get taken down" top strategy

5:17 is the first time I’ve ever seen footage of this semi final.
Think about this after Oliver and Ramos lost they both went on to win national titles stieber made them better. Stieber was absolute stud!!

All the 4x NCAA Champions were great riders. Dake, Sanderson, Stieber, and Smith. Soon to be 4x Lee and Yianni are also hammers on top.
Yianni would be an exception here
@@lucaspopolizio8286 Yianni is a hammer on top, especially the past two years. Go back and watch his matches

Oliver actually had that 2takedown. He got robbed.
Haha dude JO got fuckin robbed so badly. Never stopped thinkin about it

He’s great but he had some super soft ncaa finals matches.

@@mikef9126 dude I said he’s great. Awesome legendary career. But he had some soft ass ncaa finals.
Mitchell port....one of the biggest 141lbers ever. He cut weight from 165 to make 41s. Insane
Oliver got jobbed. I'll always think of Logan as a 3 time champ, not 4 timer.
First thing in think of when his name is brought up. It was a TD then and is now
@@COUNTRYKIDSwrestling Agreed. I'm willing to give Steiber the benefit of the doubt in the Ramos match, but Oliver definitely got jobbed.

Oliver won that match at the end, sorry 🤷♂️
