How is it working for you? I'm thinking of this one but I want to hear a bit more songs with it I mean hear more of a CD and a vinyl is there anyway you can show me? thanks.
I am very impressed by the performance of the AM radio tuner in this thing! It has nice wideband sound and seems to be very sensitive -- *much* better than the AM tuner in the Crosley 1975T system. Just too bad they gave it those blindingly bright blue LEDs!
It has a very good tuner I agree.....and I actually forgot to uncoil the FM antennae - but it still did pretty good. Hey, I sent you an email today FYI. Thank you for watching!

On Amazon I saw this one and also the 8-function one, but I feel like I would like a lot more to have this one that has 50's vibes. Thank you so much for making this video! Nice video and I hope you have a nice day!
Hi, great video. I just bought this unit and I wanted to see a review of it. I recently got into records. I started a small collection. I all about the retro look. I'm glad to here all the nice things you said about it. Keep up the great work! 🤘
Got a thumbs up as soon as I heard you say Elvis. He was way before my time but I've been a huge fan since I was a kid. Definitely getting this for my records.
I grew up in the 1960’s-1970’s. Had quite a collection of records.Still remember the 6 players I had. Not into records, really, though I find it interesting that they have made such a comeback. And I’m glad. It’s a good hobby. I am more into radios. What you said about phonograph vs. streaming, goes for radios too. It really is nice that some companies really get it. Nice quality, and features. This looks very cool. I also like the dial, and that it has AM radio. Don’t like the DSP but that’s just about all anyone is putting out anymore. Good review. 📻👍🙂‼️
Record-ology Most “analog “ radios are DSP. The best , of course is the C.Crane E.P.Pro. Right down to the bargain basement pocket radios from the Dollar stores. All the emergency radios from KAITO are all DSP. Almost everything is now. That “ radio in a chip” has allowed companies to kick out radios super cheap. Then they purchase the rights and dies to previous generations of radios and use the same cases. So they don’t even have to design new housings. It’s easy to tell the DSP . It sort of shuffles between stations, muting in between. Its really easy to go past a station you want. They also tend to pop when they are turned on. Most are pretty worthless for anything but local stations.
this seems to be another decent Victrola system! sounds pretty good for in all in one unit, love the styling of course which gives it its curb appeal. I noticed they are starting to make a lot of these now maybe to compete with crosley and other all in one manufacturers. love these reviews! thanks for sharing, rob
I love this nice looking gadget because it is an integrated unit which can play the music recorded using old and new technologies right from the time of turntable and it is not expensive to own. I have bought one and I love to hear the old songs playing from the vinyl very nicely in it. The FM radio, Bluetooth and USB connectivity adds to the versatility of this unit to serve as a personal device in the office or at home. However, there are a couple of things which I have noticed that it would have been nice to have. (1) The player does not have a remote control to switch on/off and to choose the play options. (2) The player when switched on, it defaults to the CD player mode always. I couldn't reset the unit to start paying the in Radio mode instead, when switched on. With these two exceptions, this unit is a perfect companion for me to relax and enjoy the music.
Hi. I’m loving your reviews of these all in one units. I bought 2 TEAC LP R660 units, 1 as a backup! I’ve been hoping you would review the TEAC units. I’m now using a TEAC MC-D800 with a Digital Tascam SD-20 to record my vinyl to 24 / 96 WAV and they sound great. Keep up the awesome work. I’m really enjoying your channel. Thank you.
Yes, been listening to vinyl since I was little in the 60's and 70's. And watching the record play made it more fascinating than the music. I got away from vinyl when CD'S came out. Then got back into it 2017. I never sold any of My vinyl, cassettes, or 8-tracks.

It'll be great getting out my oldies plus my Ma gave me some of hers at Christmas time, so I'll be up and running within days! Thanks for the review. Rock on! 😊
I had a similar.one but mine was a Magnavox and it didn't have the USB or the flash drive port or blue tooth and it looked a little different than that one but that turntable reminds me of the one that I used to have it brings back memories!!!
Good question - you could go with a diamond tip vs sapphire with a metal cantilever. Will it sound any different? Not to my ears. Thank you for watching!
New to your channel and considering this one Bc of the esthetic mostly 😍. But I’ve been seeing about the Victrola suitcase 🧳 players being bad and can damage your vinyl records in the long run. Will I have the same issue with this one for the damaging on the vinly records in the long run ?????
QUESTION...Using the USB port, could you hook up external computer speakers? I did this with my Victrola 6-1, but it has RCA outputs. I was hoping I could hook up two speakers and a subwoofer system that hooks up via USB
I'[m way so late getting into this conversation...I have a Teac SL-D930 which is a nice retro looking radio with bluetooth but a power surge killed its power supply so I want to replace it. I don't expect or need the best sound quality, but something fun for my video editing suite. I have come down to this Victrola or a Crosley CR612B-RE Corsair..which one is a "better" buy? Thanks so much!
Interesting little set-Like you I want to see the records turn-the tape reels turn! One of my older Laserdisc players you could watch the disc turn.with LED tech today-they should make it where you can adjust the color and brightness of the LED displays.Laserdisc was an older video format sort of based on CD tech-the video was recorded as analog along with the sound-later the sound was digital as in CDs.Laserdisc competed with the tape formats-I used it instead of tapes. You could not record with Laserdisc-just playback thru your TV and sound system. You see Laserdisc machines surface now and then.
I really like the idea of color adjustable LED lights! My son just bought lights for the underside of his bed that change color with a remote control. And as far as laserdisc goes.....I always liked the idea of analog video stored on a disc - but I know the format had issues such as discs scratching themselves while spinning due to their own weight. Still very cool - growing up laserdisc was a format for rich people. I had to settle for HIFI Stereo VHS lol.
Gr8 review and I really like this! Also love the Empire 6-1 you reviewed! ? I really need this for vinyl and Bluetooth, I know this doesn't have tapes but how does thi s compare sound wide to the Empire? If there's not much in it maybe I could live without the tape? Thanks 😗
Hi. Back again. I have a question. I recieved mine today. I was wondering if you would know which Type not brand of vinyl matt (silicone, cork or felt/wool) that would work best (?) and I imagine I'd need to adjust the arm as well (if applicable) but I'll have to delve into that info. I just feel extremely out of sorts to put albums on plastic. Please reply on your thoughts. Signed .. Concerned (Maybe its correct term is a slip mat)
I personally think that the is no reason to put a slip mat on this and the VTA is not adjustable anyway. The three rubber nubs really do fine and in fact are more stable than a rigid flat surface.
@@Recordology ok .. thank you. I just feel like I'm going against the holy grail so to speak! Old School at its finest! I'll take the plunge 🤞🙏 .. ☺ Thanks for the nudge! 🎵

i know that i am very late to the show, but i just received one of these for christmas and noticed that the 33 rpm is running at slightly over 35 rpm. i dont really want to destroy any of my records, but i cant seem to find where to actually fix this on the manufacturer’s website, they mention it being either under the platter or on the bottom. as far as i can tell, the platter doesnt come off, so i was just wondering if you happened to know where i might find the speed adjustment screws. thanks!
I bought one of these from Target on clearance for around 80 dollars in black and have owned it for about two years now, and just have to say I don't think it's worth the money. It looks nice but it's made from really thin plastic and you have to be very careful when opening and shutting it, plus turning the station knobs. The worst part: the sound quality isn't there esp. when playing records and the CD part--now 2 years later freezes up sometimes. I always get comments on how nice it looks from people who come over--have it atop my mini bar--but it's just not worth it. I wish I had never bought it, about 2 months in I started to have my doubts and by then it was too late. No go! Save your money and buy something better.

Last I heard, the turntable mechanisms in these are made by a company called Skywin. The Victrola name is indeed owned by Innovative Technologies though.
Seems a little on the cheap side. Pretty much a styled up boombox with a cheap ceramic cartridge turntable. Too bad it doesn't have any EQ or bass controls or anything as far as I can tell. Sounds a little tinny to my ears.
I got one of these in red the other day. It's become one of my favorite "toys". Sound quality is actually excellent. I'm glad I ignored bad reviews.

Seems a little on the cheap side. Pretty much a styled up boombox with a cheap ceramic cartridge turntable. Too bad it doesn't have any EQ or bass controls or anything as far as I can tell. Sounds a little tinny to my ears.
This unit is all about getting a full feature set in a tiny package. And the aesthetic and fun as well. Thank you for watching!
the guy never tells you how to turn off the bluetooth
Guy is annoying tbh.
Katy perry :’) followed by Christmas music.
No option for plugging in additional or more powerful speakers?? Baaad move. Shame, Victrola.
This is ok for you teenagers interested in a beginner but it's not for you if you're a serious vinyl lover.
