I got my 6 in 1 for my 15th birthday and it was only $50 at Wal-Mart. Here 5 years later and this thing is still fully working and sounds amazing. Granted I haven't used it extensively. Actually still on the original needle! Still have the spares that came with the package. Wanted to see if there were any reviews on it to see what everybody else thought of it.
Also as a side note, I had no idea the little disc in the top left corner was a spacer for 45s. It's been in the same spot the entire time and I've been wracking my brain not being able to play those records LOL.
Next time you get a copyright claim, dispute it as Fair Use with the following explanation, which works for me: "This video contains brief clips of music for the educational and technical purpose of demonstrating an electronic device. This usage is simply to give a short example of how the device operates and what it sounds like, and has no negative impact on the market value of the music itself. This is Fair Use under U.S. copyright law and will be defended as such in court if necessary." (Despite that last part, no one has ever taken me to court yet!)
VWestlife It kinda sucks to be honest, because I love hearing little samples of songs when somebody reviews turntables (I love when you do that) and you really can’t tell how good a turntable is just from that little 5 second sample.
I have made a ton of music videos of different 45 rpm records and all it is a video of the record player playing the song and the audio from the actual record and I've never gotten copyright claim violations
I used to work in a book warehouse. We got mostly used books from college bookstores. The first thing they taught us, when you open a box, open the sides first, lift up the top, and cut it. It does not damage whatever is inside.
I ended up with this unit. The other one I wanted was out of stock. I really enjoy it and I am also looking to more videos educating people about these types of turntables
I am always amazed at how well Victrola's stereos sound, especially the AIO's, because the majority of their models are 10-watt (5 watts per side) systems. How the company manages to get so much depth and warmth out of their (usually gorgeous) speakers is just incredible. I'm on my third Victrola in 15 years, but only because my 2nd one got fried inside about 3 years ago. I also have a Jensen AIO 35-watt system, but it's sound quality doesn't hold a candle to the Victrola's.
Interesting unit- i have in a spare room a 1970's Waltham ' President' music centre which has a turntable, cassette deck, 8-track player, tuner and bizarely, a guitar input jack. It runs 4 large speakers if needed and is a monster ( very big with lots of buttons & toggle switches and very heavy). Needs an overhaul by an audio engineer but i wonder if it is worth the cost. However, i intend to keep it as have only seen a couple on line before. Please keep up the intetesting content.
sure if u look for a cheap small record player this can do but dont expect high quality and awesome sound. this is a cheap system you have to remember this.
A great video, as always. This machine will make copies onto a CD-R which sound faithful to their sound source. The cassette player lasted about a year and the turntable tonearm skipped. This is why I plug into the AUX IN jack a different turntable or a box radio with a cassette, radio, and CD player. Although this machine's speakers won't reveal their dynamic range, the sound of the recordings onto CD-Rs plays well on CD players with higher-quality speakers. Th
I bought this as a birthday present to myself a couple years ago. I subsequently purchased the Victrola M1 speakers and S1 Subwoofer, and they sound incredible. My only issue is that unless I place a weight such as a quarter on top of the needle area, the records skip constantly.
This is the model I have, gotta wait until Christmas to open it though. I wish it had the ability to record like the 8-in-one does but as long as I can connect it to my receiver on my large home stereo, that's the most important thing to me as I'm not convinced that these tiny speakers are going to satisfy my need for big sound.
Very similar to a GPO chesterton 6 in one of which I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality, this was ideal for our dining room, in the living room we have separate component hi fi system, for a 6 in 1 to impress me is a good thing, the GPO doesn’t blow your socks off but it’s great for what it is.

This is my second Victrola (upgraded). I bought this one back in August 2021 and the other Victrola May 2021. The first one I bought I still use whenever I'm in my office, it's the cute Victrola Vintage suitcase record player. Great sound and everything. I upgraded because I was ready for "more" and a combo since my CD that I had just barely bought was on it's last leg smh. Anyways, I bought the Farmhouse color, neutral color. I came to video to remind myself how to connect the Bluetooth. Gratitude for the information because g👀gle said I needed the rca cables, which made zero sense to me. In regards to Bluetooth, it sounds terrible...I'll tell you why! Because when I listen to my records (vinyl) and occasional CD 💿, I barely have to turn up the volume because the sound is deep and rich. Versus the Bluetooth, gah! I've never had to go to the halfway mark, that's too much & sounds like the Bluetooth is crying for more power and it's almost at the *max* yikes! All I could think about was, glad I got warranty! Lastly, I absolutely love this Victrola, both of them. I can see myself buying 1 more for the bedroom. The speakers have superior sound IMO. Not only are my albums, dragging, slowing down while playing. When I play a 45 record it stops before the end of the record. Why? And how do you fix all this?
You did the right thing. It's a shame that it's that way. I put up a brief sound clip of something that I did with a turntable and it got flagged and basically I was the only one that could see it. It wasn't monetized and it wasn't a complete song.
Interesting that you said it had a sort of Aviator theme. One of Voctrola'a most popular models (available as 4-in-1, 6-in-1, or 8-in-1), is the Aviator. It has approximately 15 variants. I owned one called an Aviator Signature, which was an 8-in-1, and had a CD burner rather than the direct to USB/SD card MP3 that the current models (2017+) have. If a lightning strike hadn't hit my apartment, I'd still have that Aviator Signature, but the lightning fried it along with most of the apartment's appliances. I replaced the Aviator Signature with a Victrola Empire Mid-Century, and I couldn't be happier. A fabulous unit replaced by a fantastic unit. The Empire Mid-Centuryhas better sound and better looks. Winner in my book.
I have the same unit, it’s crosley but mine has am and fm no Bluetooth, however. Got as a Christmas gift years ago. I don’t have albums anymore but I do have cds , the CD player skips, this did it when new. I tried one of those laser cleaning discs that just have a piece of cloth that wipes the laser. I have an old phone I use with the aux with a 3.5 mm double ended plug. Not state of the art but ok for my use.

I bought one from a store and it was perfect for 6 months and one day the right speaker suddenly stopped working and it can't even finish a whole album like, i play a vinyl and it can't play to the last song of each side. i dunno what exactly occurred to my 6 in 1 turntable but it is somewhat damaged.
Im having the same issues with playing the last bit of a song. They say loosen the screw and i have and it still stops on the last bits of the records.

With the lift/lever thing, that simply assists the record if you want to be extra careful? But you don’t have to use it do you? Thats the only part that threw me a bit. I’m new to the record world.

Hello thanks for the vids. I've had the 6-in-1 VTA-200B for about a year and it's great for my small space. I use it daily. Do u think changing the cartridge to a "Banpa upgraded" would improve it at all? I'm only using the built-in speakers so wondering if you think a cartridge upgrade is worth the trouble. Also my new needle seems to sit very flat, do you leave it as-is or try to bring it down a bit? Some newer pop vinyls skip a tad - I returned a couple records thinking they were bad, now I realize it just is what it is🤷♀. Most of my records are older and play without issues.

This Unit is something else....I`m sure i have seen this before somewhere,just can`t think where....i would buy this if it never had a CD/Record player,or tape..Let alone Radio or BT....It just looks great as it is...without the need for all those things ! Wonderful ,Really Wunderbar !
Get a piece of thin wire about four feet long and strip the insulation off half an inch. Strip the insulation off the wire that comes out of the record player and splice them both together. Maybe you could tape the antenna to the wall so the cat doesn't get to it (!).
Great video! I just opened mine and all worked well at first. But the second time I started the CD it flashed to NO, indicating no CD was in. There was a CD installed. Any suggestions or do I have a bad unit?
I have a couple of questions about this particular entertainment center made by Victrola. Where is the setting on the knob for a cassette tape player? How do you play a cassette tape where there is no knob setting between phono, CD, aux and FM/Bluetooth?
Good question… The tape player doesn’t have a mode because it overrides the other inputs. When you insert a tape it starts playing automatically. The only control that works for the tape is the volume
@@Recordology: Thanks for the response. Before I go, I have one more question to ask. As you probably know that I have a Victrola entertainment center myself but it is the 8 in 1 version of it. Everything still works really well but one thing is concerning for me. Whenever I put any kind of CD on a CD player in order to listen to it, the songs on it have a lot of intentions to skip one second or so in the CD player. Is this normal or can I do something about it?
12:16 my turntable doesn’t immediately start spinning when I move the needle. Is there anything I haven’t done? I fully tightened the hold down screw and the radio works fine it just won’t spin
I just moved and my victrolla was working fine, now the light st/bt flashes blue and I can hear the cassette player running the only other thing that works is the fm radio.
I am trying to play a vinyl and for some reason, I am getting the quick blinking blue light (as if it's searching for bluetooth) don't even want to that! i can't stop it. i have it set to "Phono" even tried turning off the player and restarting. if i play a vinyl, the volume is very low. how do i fix this? i also tried actually pairing it to my phone to see if i can make that work and the player will reset when i unpair it to my phone. it pairs with my phone and no volume from the player. what is happening?
I bought one of these almost 3 years ago (not exactly this Victrola model) and I'm gonna upgrade to a Crosley C100. The thing is I only have a pair of PC speakers that sound very good for my taste (I would use these temporarily), but when plugging them to my all in one turntable, the sound is flat and lacks of bass (something that doesn't happen with the built-in in speakers). The same happens when using the USB record function, I have to digitally apply EQ to the recording. Will this happen with the C100? I mean, the speakers plugged into my PC with no EQ applied sound rich and full of bass

My records are playing really quietly from this machine. Had previously been working fine. To get it to be “loud,” I have to turn it up all the way. However, when I play cds, tapes, or Bluetooth, I don’t need to turn it up that high. Help please 😭
can anyone help me... my turntable sounds good for the most part but it sounds as if its in a lower tuning, or lower pitched when comparing the same song on spotify or youtube. part of me thinks its a leveling issue due to my player sitting on my desk thats only mounted to the wall and not on the floor but idk...

For some reason my victrola has aux inputs where this one has line outputs. I can't hook mine up to my stereo system because of this. I wonder if mine is an older model?
Thanks for the review. I should be receiving mine in a couple of days. There is no way I am using the cassette player on it. There seems to be no recourse if the player eats the tape, like with old car stereos. That's okay I mostly want it for the other features and the Vintage look.
I got mines two Christmas ago and it stop working around last Christmas the im so sad because I would use it every day after school the Bluetooth/FM AM and the cd don’t work no more and they would be really glitchy. And for the vinyl part it would play not even half and no more sound would come out of it or it would be really faint no matter how high I would set the volume. :( I don’t know why because I always keep my things neat, like nothing was broken from the outside. I’m guessing it has something to do with the inside. I’m really sad because now it’s just sitting there collecting dust if I new how to fix it I would, because like he said it is very pretty and it has a nice warm sound to it
Sounds great, but it appears that the vinyl is playing pretty sharp in this video as it disappointingly does with my model as well... Don’t know if anyone else noticed this, but it makes listening to records on mine pretty annoying, even if I enjoy the sound quality...
I have a question… I got one of these for Christmas and I’m sending it back because I had a lot of difficulty unpacking the turntable. I couldn’t find what the instruction manual called “the clamper“ to remove it… How did you remove the clamp on the tonearm? I pushed and pushed and pushed to the right, the holder finally snapped off, and the arm went flying. Every record I played on it started skipping like crazy, so I got told to change the needle, our needles and tried to change them, and the needle wouldn’t come off. How did you do that?
The clamper is a latch holding the tonearm. It should be around the middle or front of the tonearm. Replacing the needle isn't difficult, there are many tutorials on how to change it
i know this is silly...but even tho im only 34, there's no AM :( we have a couple of AM stations out here that actually still play oldies music haha. i also have an AM transmitter connected to my computer/mp3 setup which is fun to transmit on. I mean there's always FM which is great, but AM has a fun sound too.

You might have to turn the volume up on your phone/ tablet as well as the record player itself.

Does anybody else have problems playing 180g vinyl on this? I've bought 2 different "audiophile" albums that sound slowed down whenever I play them.

I am curious as to the base of the unit. Does it have pegs/legs or does it sit flat against a stand/bookshelf? thanks

Hello thanks for the vids. I've had the 6-in-1 VTA-200B for about a year and it's great for my small space. I use it daily. Do u think changing the cartridge to a "Banpa upgraded" would improve it at all? I'm only using the built-in speakers so wondering if you think a cartridge upgrade is worth the trouble. Also my new needle seems to sit very flat, do you leave it as-is or try to bring it down a bit? Some newer pop vinyls skip a tad - I returned a couple records thinking they were bad, now I realize it just is what it is🤷♀. Most of my records are older and play without issues.
I received my Victrola Quincy, but the CD player will not work. Do you know how I return this or get some help? It might just be something I’m doing wrong. Thank you.
This Unit is something else....I`m sure i have seen this before somewhere,just can`t think where....i would buy this if it never had a CD/Record player,or tape..Let alone Radio or BT....It just looks great as it is...without the need for all those things ! Wonderful ,Really Wunderbar !
Hey, bud, what can you tell me about the cassette player? The Auto Stop slot door made me think of it as Auto Reverse on a radio in a classic truck.
Its an automatic slot loader - nothing fancy but will play tapes!
How do you replace an FM antenna that has been destroyed by cats? By destroyed I mean taken down to a half inch sticking out the back of the unit.
Get a piece of thin wire about four feet long and strip the insulation off half an inch. Strip the insulation off the wire that comes out of the record player and splice them both together. Maybe you could tape the antenna to the wall so the cat doesn't get to it (!).
Great video! I just opened mine and all worked well at first. But the second time I started the CD it flashed to NO, indicating no CD was in. There was a CD installed. Any suggestions or do I have a bad unit?
I have a couple of questions about this particular entertainment center made by Victrola. Where is the setting on the knob for a cassette tape player? How do you play a cassette tape where there is no knob setting between phono, CD, aux and FM/Bluetooth?
Good question… The tape player doesn’t have a mode because it overrides the other inputs. When you insert a tape it starts playing automatically. The only control that works for the tape is the volume
@@Recordology: Thanks for the response. Before I go, I have one more question to ask. As you probably know that I have a Victrola entertainment center myself but it is the 8 in 1 version of it. Everything still works really well but one thing is concerning for me. Whenever I put any kind of CD on a CD player in order to listen to it, the songs on it have a lot of intentions to skip one second or so in the CD player. Is this normal or can I do something about it?
12:16 my turntable doesn’t immediately start spinning when I move the needle. Is there anything I haven’t done? I fully tightened the hold down screw and the radio works fine it just won’t spin

I just moved and my victrolla was working fine, now the light st/bt flashes blue and I can hear the cassette player running the only other thing that works is the fm radio.
Is it a good cassette player or would you recommend something else that’s similar but a better cassette player?
I am trying to play a vinyl and for some reason, I am getting the quick blinking blue light (as if it's searching for bluetooth) don't even want to that! i can't stop it. i have it set to "Phono" even tried turning off the player and restarting. if i play a vinyl, the volume is very low. how do i fix this? i also tried actually pairing it to my phone to see if i can make that work and the player will reset when i unpair it to my phone. it pairs with my phone and no volume from the player. what is happening?
I bought one of these almost 3 years ago (not exactly this Victrola model) and I'm gonna upgrade to a Crosley C100. The thing is I only have a pair of PC speakers that sound very good for my taste (I would use these temporarily), but when plugging them to my all in one turntable, the sound is flat and lacks of bass (something that doesn't happen with the built-in in speakers). The same happens when using the USB record function, I have to digitally apply EQ to the recording.
Will this happen with the C100? I mean, the speakers plugged into my PC with no EQ applied sound rich and full of bass
Good question. The C-100 will be an incredible upgrade for you. All thanks to the Magnetic AT3600 cart with an actual RIAA curve.
i got one for christmas and its beautiful but all of my vinyls keep skipping and getting stuck at certain parts. ive been looking for a video that helps with that but havent found any. any tips?

mine is not playing when put in a record, it does play but i get no sound from the speakers.
My records are playing really quietly from this machine. Had previously been working fine. To get it to be “loud,” I have to turn it up all the way. However, when I play cds, tapes, or Bluetooth, I don’t need to turn it up that high. Help please 😭
can anyone help me... my turntable sounds good for the most part but it sounds as if its in a lower tuning, or lower pitched when comparing the same song on spotify or youtube. part of me thinks its a leveling issue due to my player sitting on my desk thats only mounted to the wall and not on the floor but idk...
Is it supposed to have a gap between the needle and the case. The whole turntable moves a lot and I just wanted to know if it is supposed to be that way.
Hmm .. so there is no rewind on the casette I guess. But I just read that you are supposed to flip it over and fast forward lol

he said to fast forward, press the eject button half way. Nothing else though. Its the only buttone for it
What are the differences between the 8 in 1 and the 6 in 1? Is it worth getting the 8 in 1 if I have the 6 in 1? I don’t care for the recording or the remote. I guess those are the only two differences?

8:06 Dolby noise reduction (not to be confused with HX Pro) has absolutely nothing to do with bias.
For some reason my victrola has aux inputs where this one has line outputs. I can't hook mine up to my stereo system because of this. I wonder if mine is an older model?

Thanks for the review. I should be receiving mine in a couple of days. There is no way I am using the cassette player on it. There seems to be no recourse if the player eats the tape, like with old car stereos. That's okay I mostly want it for the other features and the Vintage look.
Yeah, I never use the cassette player in mine either for that very reason. I mostly bought it because it plays vinyls, CDs, and FM radio all in one.
So is there a way to play the record and connect via bluetooth to a receiver and play it through my bigger system?
By bigger system do you mean a stereo
You can via audio output cables.....but the bt is inbound only.
I got mines two Christmas ago and it stop working around last Christmas the im so sad because I would use it every day after school the Bluetooth/FM AM and the cd don’t work no more and they would be really glitchy. And for the vinyl part it would play not even half and no more sound would come out of it or it would be really faint no matter how high I would set the volume. :( I don’t know why because I always keep my things neat, like nothing was broken from the outside. I’m guessing it has something to do with the inside. I’m really sad because now it’s just sitting there collecting dust if I new how to fix it I would, because like he said it is very pretty and it has a nice warm sound to it

Sounds great, but it appears that the vinyl is playing pretty sharp in this video as it disappointingly does with my model as well... Don’t know if anyone else noticed this, but it makes listening to records on mine pretty annoying, even if I enjoy the sound quality...

I got one of these for Christmas and I’m sending it back because I had a lot of difficulty unpacking the turntable.
I couldn’t find what the instruction manual called “the clamper“ to remove it… How did you remove the clamp on the tonearm? I pushed and pushed and pushed to the right, the holder finally snapped off, and the arm went flying.
Every record I played on it started skipping like crazy, so I got told to change the needle, our needles and tried to change them, and the needle wouldn’t come off. How did you do that?
The clamper is a latch holding the tonearm. It should be around the middle or front of the tonearm. Replacing the needle isn't difficult, there are many tutorials on how to change it

Just unboxed a brand new one and the power button won’t turn on.
i know this is silly...but even tho im only 34, there's no AM :( we have a couple of AM stations out here that actually still play oldies music haha. i also have an AM transmitter connected to my computer/mp3 setup which is fun to transmit on. I mean there's always FM which is great, but AM has a fun sound too.
My records I've only been collecting over a year are skipping on this thing did my Crosley ruin those records or do I need weights?
