Mr. Monk often forgets how many people actually surround him who really like and love him, care for him and are there for him to comfort his loss, pain and grief. People who accept him just the way he is. Adrian Monk meets some of them only for a short time while others will always have an eye on him and stand by him. But all these encounters show that there is hope for Monk. Cause the Miracle of Love is everywhere...he just has to believe in it.

So, so touching! Last night I watched Monk for the very first time in my life because my boyfriend keeps telling me that I'm kinda "monkish" sometimes (when in comes to putting things in the right places). I watched the 1st episode of the 1st season and could have never imagined that he would allow - or even initiate - physical contact. Most touching: the scene with the dog and with the sleeping child on his lap.
