I think to be Correct the "viking song" is based on the Bards Theme. Since you hear the Bards theme at the begining of the the game and the VIking song in the middle. The Viking song is more of a parody or pisstake of the the Bards theme IMO

I know this comment is very old, but this game has no shortage of tavern-themed songs.
Divinity has some of the best tavern music. Baulders gate, the witcher, ultima series too.
