Good afternoon Joseph, I hope you are well. I was wondering whether you have a tutorial in replacing the Wiper Arm on a SWF single head embroidery machine. Its a 15 colour machine. The machine is a T1201C - Your help would be greatly appreciated if you have any info on how to do this please?
Great video. I have a Futong 15 needle that is 100 degrees out. At 100 the take up lever is engaged but at 0 it is even and the head will move. The machine will not start to function until it goes to 110 and then the head will not move. I cant find any info on Futong. Thanks
awesome video thanks... i have a lever arm that keeps dropping and i can't do the colour change... any ideas what might be causing that? It kind of looks like the levers have lost their "stay up tension" and just drop down when the colour change moves from needle to needle, then it locks and jams
Thanks that worked....One more quick question...I changed the recipcator and sews great...However it's not catching on all the needles...What could cause this....
Brent Bishop there's 2 main reasons for your Needle not to catch. your reciprocator is damaged or your Needle bar height is incorrect due to worn or broken Needle bar rubber cushions or Needle bar height is off.
Check to see if all the needle bars are even from the bottom. Most likely the ones that are not catching are more higher than the ones that are catching. Give me a call and I'll walk you though some things to look for. (213) 747-9555
I currently do not have a MAN-12 on hand but I will be able to send you the Manual which goes over the LCD Panel. Send me your email and I'll have it right over.
Thanks for your quick response Joseph. This is to do with the timing belt that is on main shaft and head shaft.Should the belt be timed at 100 degrees with the needles at Top Dead Center?
Here are some helpful Degrees when troubleshooting your machine: Lowest Needle Position: 178-180 Degrees Top Dead Point: 0 Degrees Hook timing: 201-203 Degrees Whenever the machine stops, the home position should always be at 100 Degrees (Encoder triggers at 100 Degrees)
Thank you so much Joseph. I was able to install the timing belt on our two head machine using the information given above. The machine is working well. I now have a deeper, better understanding of that aspect of repairs. Once again, thanks and blessings on you.
Hi Joseph, I have a SWF/E T1201C this is the number of error 202 when I star embroyed the machine show me that number whit this message "Y axis driver irregular signed detected". I am writting from Venezuela, if you know how to help me please tell me I will waiting for your answer
Hi Eva. Unfortunately not familiar with the Ricoma but most embroidery machines have very similar designs on removing the head. Same parts just different screw placement. I'm sure it would be very similar.
@@ABCSewingMachine hi abc sewing ! Thank you sonmucj for answer!! If i send you a photo with email you can say me what to have to remove? I have two needles in my ricoma not working because touch a hoop in a work ! My ricoma is ricoma 1201 tc
gvenglar Feel free to email me information about your unit and I can troubleshoot with you and steer you in the right direction. You can reach me at joseph@abcsewingmachine.com
Hi I have a e-1501C and when I add the cap driver and trace the Y-axis is malfunctioning. I am getting error 202 where irregular signal is detected. Without the cap driver the machine works and embroiders fine. Please is there anything you can think of?
Hi Zack, There is a support bar on the bottom of your hook arm that supports the cap. I want to say that the bar is not aligned with the sitting position of the cap driver. 1- Install the Cap Driver and center your needle to the middle of the wing plates (They hover over your needle plate) 2- Loosen the 3 Alan screws that are around that support bar 3- Move the frame forward and back to get the cap driver more centered with the support bar and then tighten the screws. 4- If this does not release some of the strain then send me pictures and your phone number so I can see what could be going on: joseph@abcsewingmachine.com
Hey Joseph! Is it possible to ask you for a copy of the manual? I just recently got my hands on one of these machines but the previous owner lost the manual and I can't find it anywhere online :( could you please help ? hope you have a nice day!
I put my head back on and forgot which one I took it off on...I hit needle 1 now and it goes to six....how can I set the potential meter get it back to one....
Brent Bishop it is more difficult to set your potentiometer. Turn on machine and take note of what Needle the screen says your on. For example if Needle 1 is shown on screen but you're on 6 then take off Head and put it on 1 without turning the color change wheel while Head is off.
Hi I'm about to buy this same model how is it and can you get the cap frame for it and as it's old can I still operate it and link it to my laptop ? He said it's floppy disc
Brent Bishop there's a few reasons for that. 1. Make sure to format your floppy disk to FAT. 2. your floppy driver may not be good 3. cable for floppy driver is not good.
Hello Sir! per our phone conversation the 103 error is caused by the Thread Trimmer Bracket in the back. First check if the thread trim return sensor is working. If so, then you need to check to see if there is any bind mechanically on the machine that is preventing the trim bar from moving smoothly. Binding areas: 1 or more moving knives are too tight causing the bar to stop before reaching home position. The White Plastic Stopper behind head 4 is misaligned. The sensor block is hitting the sensor The knife CAM is in the wrong position These are typically the main reasons that cause the 103 error
Hi Joseph, I am desperate. I need to adjust the cam on one of my embroidery machine. Where can I get info on how to do that in a single head, 15 needle, color change cam?. I did look for utube video but could not find one. Thanks. Vilma
THIS MAKES ME ANGRY because the people that would do maintenance never offered never said anything about this. how about parts can i get parts from your company
glenford holder first you have to filter out the basics. 1. Check threading on that needle. 2. Make sure thread break sensor wheel is threaded properly 3. Check if all needles are causing false thread breaks or if it happens only on a few needles . 3a. If all needles causing false thread breaks then it may be the thread sensor circuit board, or ribbon cable. 3b. If only a few needles causing false thread breaks then check condition of head ribbon cable or replace it. 4. Check your thread break sensor setting. If you have a BT1501C then go to Machine then emb settings and increase thread break sensor higher to 4- 6. If you have an ET1501C then goto settings, emb setting then change thread break sensor to 4-6. If that doesn't work then call me and I'll help you troubleshoot the issues.
hi all the other needles are working fine just needle 3 registering thread break and there is no thread break i rethread the machine several times same issue.
glenford holder you will want to change out the head ribbon cable if you went through all the basics. You can also check the thread break board and make sure the wheel for needle 3 is not damaged.
The AC Line error could be caused by a number of issues. 1st thing is the test the input power going into the machine from your outlet. The first thing to check would be the power supply, SMPS, Power Board and make sure that the electric line is producing the correct voltage. Next would be the transformer on the machine and make sure the connections are properly connected.
Error 300 - There is a half turn sensor that controls whether your needle is centered with the needle plate hole. You need to find the center point by turning the silver knob behind head 1 on the right side. You need to manually turn the knob SLOWLY until the error goes away. There is a split second of a delay so turn a little bit, then stop, then turn a little bit and stop until the error goes away. Once error goes away, hit the number keypad to automatically change needles. If the needle changes automatically then it should find the center point unless your sensor position is off. Most people turn and keep turning before the alarm has time to go away so make sure to be patient and move little by little.

hi.. how can
Error 300 - There is a half turn sensor that controls whether your needle is centered with the needle plate hole. You need to find the center point by turning the silver knob behind head 1 on the right side. You need to manually turn the knob SLOWLY until the error goes away. There is a split second of a delay so turn a little bit, then stop, then turn a little bit and stop until the error goes away.
