Chicken Processing Setup (Temporary Setup)

- This is my temporary chicken processing set up. It worked out good for the most part. The only issue was ground getting soaked over time and becoming muddy. When I fix my permeant setup I will have separate stations for eviscerate and final prep of the birds.

Those are some nice plump birds, ready for freezer. I kind of like watching the general stuff around the farm, brings back some good memories. I had some Aracona chickens at one time, the green egg types, and they were feisty little chickens. Thanks Daryl!
Biggest one was 8 pounds
Great look at the farm coming together Darrell. Thanks much for sharing your videos!
Thanks for watching
You give so much information with your videos .I learn something every time ! Thanks
Thank you
kinda funny watching you catch them little ones!
Thanks for sharing
I used to process around 100 chickens a year the hard way, couldn't stand the smell anymore. Still have flashbacks when I buy chicken. Lol
Hardly any smell doing it this way. I think the wet feathers is what always stinks and you don’t have to deal with that with the plucker
@@dfishman76 look like you have a great setup too, everything's clean and ready for process. Great job. And its awsome knowing that it's your own birds .
This is true.
I let out and roam free done some damage on bugs and ants.
Our dogs kill the chickens if they get out
Sup brother!!!

Working on it

I like Rhode island red hens, but never keep the rooster cause all the ones I've ever had got mean ,, and I don't like to be spurred. Enjoyed hearing the quails. I would love to have a plucker,, would make life earlier.
Whatcha gonna do with those four boys you got in your chicken tractor now?
4 boys?
Doesn't anyone use wire clothing hangers any more to catch chickens?
