Some KOF info: Julie: (Korean-American) [Leader & Main Rapper] was a Blacklabel (YG Label) trainee for 3 years which explains her great rapping skills. Natty: (Thai) [Main Dancer, Vocalist, Rapper, possible center/FOTG] has been a trainee for a very long time. She was a former JYP trainee, and her failing her first audition in the Neverland MV symbolizes her journey on Sixteen (the show that formed Twice) on which she was a fan favorite in the competition made it to the finale at only 13, but didn’t debut then. She’s a crazy performer she beat Twice’s Momo on Sixteen when she was 13 years old which is a feat in itself. Then she went on Idol School (show that formed Fromis_9) a few years later but was rigged out of the final lineup, next she made a solo debut but after she disappeared for like 3 years and now she’s here! Finally in the Shhh MV she finds KOF members and makes her debut. (It seems like Natty might be the main character/central figure of the Bye My Neverland & Shhh MV’s cause the story definitely seems to be centered around her own experience.) Belle: (Korean-American) [Main Vocal & Visual] she was a songwriter/producer for SM, and is honestly an insane vocalist (she does the whistle notes in Shhh) and has also wrote/produced for songs like Unforgiven for Le Sserafim, also for Purple Kiss & Miyeon (G-Idle) and a bunch more [I can’t remember which songs for PK and Miyeon though.] Belle wrote and produced her solo “Countdown” when she was in high school and it was originally written in English. Haneul: (Korean) [Lead Vocalist/Vocalist & Rapper & Maknae] she’s the member with the least training time but she’s already so talented, she composed Bye My Neverland. my favorite thing about the mv + performance of shhh is that the performance itself ties into the storyline with it being the group audition that they are walking into at the end of the mv section of the video. i was lucky enough for them to pop up on my feed literally the first day of the first solo debut and was instantly a fan. most of the time i am drawn to the main vocalists of groups but julie won me over hard as a bias. for reals tho i love everything about this group and cannot wait for the comeback!
