Why INTJ's are the scariest introverts: Your anger doesn't cause us to retract. It amuses us.
Reality is a joke. Your emotions are a joke. Your existence and the method of reproduction by which you came to be is a joke. The ever-spiraling chaotic decline of our planet by the second law of thermodynamics is (a somewhat morbid) joke. Our state of being, and the fact of our species' eventual demise, is a cosmic joke. Humanity was screwed by the laws of the universe before we even knew what the laws of the universe were. Ha! Funny joke, universe. But eventually, universe, even you will implode and all of our efforts in figuring out anything about you will be lost into the ever-looming void. When other types speak to me about doing things to "make history" so that they can "be remembered"... it's really funny to me, because ultimately, they won't be. Ultimately, all of our efforts amount to naught but a brief spark in the everlasting darkness. Do not fool yourselves with your own sense of self-importance. Our lives, the probability of our genetics, the probability of life existing at all... it is a joke.
I embrace the other types' inherent fear of the INTJ. Because the fact that anyone would find a 5'4" woman with hands so tiny that they couldn't hurt anyone if I tried... intimidating? That, too, is hilarious!

@@InternetLiJo Obligatory "senpai noticed me" response.
Also, after viewing this video and typing out this comment, I realize it is not our scheming and planning and observational skills that make us frightening to others. It is our sense of humor, compounded with those other traits, that makes us seem truly threatening.
@ non INTJ's: Do not worry. Our own lives are just as much a joke. What is the point of world domination if the entire universe will ultimately implode? Too much effort for such a small spark in the void. I'll continue to use my processes to place too much importance on more trivial things that are much more within my ability to accomplish. Ha! Aren't we all just a bunch of stupid, lazy humans?

You ever heard that proverb, I think it was, that you're to pour kindness on your enemies? It's priceless, that you would think they saw a ghost when you do it. I had one situation where I was playing basketball one-on-one with a guy probably four inches taller than me, and at least ten years my junior. He started trying to harass me, as though he thought I would think I had a chance against him, and, of course, that amused me, since I was going to try, but I wasn't too terribly good against the random joe, let alone a guy that looked like he had been playing it all his life (basketball was my third sport, which I didn't really get serious about at all until the other two burned out). It can be such a power not expecting anything great out of yourself at times. So after a while I actually started snickering at him instead of getting mad. It became clear to me as a white boy, what his self-appointed job was, to run me off the court with my tail behind me, and thanks to my behavior, I saw him there one more time after that, and I waved to him like he was a bro. I never saw him again, and I kept playing there as I always did - lol. Imagine, trying to run somebody off a court, and you end running yourself off.

Something I also find incredibly funny is sarcasm. I'm a HIGHLY sarcastic person (which is not always well received by others) but I just can't help it, it's so tempting sometimes. When someone tells me something, I tend to automatically see the holes in their thinking and can't help but make fun of it by pointing it out in a very laughable and ironic manner. Then I'll just laugh by myself and keep thinking about it for hours. Irony is also a dear friend of mine haha. I just find it hilarious when people try to confidently predict how things are going to turn out, but at the end of the day, life happens to prove them wrong in the funniest way possible. Ask them why they believe it, and listen to the sounds of ignorance they produce afterwards.

O.o I dont know, if my mom says I'm born on July 31st I'm not going to be like "bullshit, where's my birth certificate?" like she wasn't the one who went to the hospital on a certain day and then birthed me at a certain time that is all recorded by a camera and the hospital. They have records specifically for this shit.
You're acting like being born and recording the date requires specialized detectives to find and credit. Then again by this logic, how do you know their really detectives? They probably aren't even human.

Even as an ENTJ/ENTP I find most of these things funny. Some of the things I find funny that most people don't are: Hipocrisy/Projection, uncalled for bursts of emotion, People that get mad or fixated at inconsequential little things, people that speak about a subject I am familiar and says something extremely wrong with full confidence, people that do things that go against their goals, two people arguing and both of them are wrong. Real life can be hilarious and it actually hurts that most people don't see it that way.
That is one of the reasons I love comedy like Monty Python, because they really reflected how silly life can be. It is sad that most comedies nowadays rely on shock value, improvisation and over the top performances rather than actually using real life as a basis to both critique and make fun at humanity and how life can be.

Then, my classmate started talking about how a lot of older teachers pass away before they retire and he was happy that my teacher wasn't leaving in a coffin. I snort laughed when he said that and everyone just stared at the screen for a second. Then he continued talking. Mine is so much that my arms get tired washing what feels like a poncho on my head.
Makeup. Who and why? How did we get so used to THAT norm that women will spend a fortune on to look different than themselves...EVERYDAY? That's funny!
Jealousy, to me, is funny. Even funnier is when they seemingly think people don't know that they are. Then, the INTJ observation and analyzing kicks in even more. WHY?
Those ever so slight shifts in patterns that the manipulating "shifter" is oblivious to, about themselves, even when they ARE being hyper aware of.
WHAT ISN'T funny? Other than the obvious, death, dying, and abuse of the most vulnerable.

This is so real- also actively deconstructing why you find things funny. I definitely think usually I’m not making fun of the person or thing but the situation that got it there and how absurd it is and it does kind of bother me when people make a joke and don’t understand the possible implications of why they find that joke funny, like they aren’t just making fun of somebody (which can be okay in context) but when the punchline or context is basically a power play against a group of people and therefore not so much a joke, but hidden passive aggression or like racism. Like I literally don’t understand why people have to make jokes be offensive or hurt somebody when absurdist or self-depreciating comedy exists. I just wish people would know the social science of humor and why certain things are funny only funny to people inside a certain group or an individual. Like obviously not everyone is going to find what you find funny also funny, but sometimes there’s a reason behind it beyond “i don’t find it funny”.

Americans (United States Citizens anyway) are extremely open about anything, I don't know if they'd be the most outspoken INTJs on the Internet/RUclips or not...
INTJs are also known for being direct, and are the most extremely honest/blunt people, so is this truly all that rare for them to say that they are an INTJ?
Or, does it mean that they are less introverted, and less reserved??? Would an ENTJ be more likely to say it? *Shrug*
The INTP, and the ISTJ, I know both couldn't care less about the MBTI, and the people most likely to say anything would always be INTJs and INFJs.
Most Extroverts couldn't care less, as they have a social life and family/friends, and most INFPs can't even decide what to post, so won't leave any comments :=p.

Great video, super great point at the end about connecting the dots contextually so other people can enjoy the humor. I do this a lot at work which I think helps with the stress of the environment by adding humor. (Ops management) I think it somewhat helps bring people a little into that Ni perspective for a few seconds that can shed light on some hilarious contrasts. Really super awkward when you get overly used to it and try to shed light on a joke that is too deep and no one can understand though.. I think you touched on that too a little in this video in the sense of not wanting to explain why you are laughing. It's definitely easier when you are leading the joke than when you are explaining what was funny about it to you.
I was a little surprised to not see irony with a spot on the list. Maybe that counts as contextual humor as well, in the way you categorize it. For me what always gets me the worst is when I see quick karmic reactions that are extremely ironic to the original intent of the situation. Something hypothetical would be like someone improperly disposing of trash by throwing out the driver side window with all the windows rolled down and it getting blown right into the back of the vehicle. If I am in the passenger seat I am going to die laughing after cringing that they are throwing it.
Even just an ironic situation though can make me smile or laugh. At my job sometimes I will be trying to do more than one thing, make a transaction then immediately reverse the transaction on autopilot. There's no net loss other than time, but I will at least smile and shake my head at how ironic it was that I just reversed the transaction for absolutely no reason, just because I was trying to get more work done and ultimately it had the opposite effect by actually undoing work I had already completed. It's especially bad when I am sleep deprived, probably for multiple reasons.
Just curious though, how would you say irony affects you in real world situations in relation to humor? I feel some part of seeing anger as being funny could be related to seeing the irony in getting mad about a bad situation and considering the solution to be making it worse.

Such as, "we have thermal blankets, but what about nuclear thermal blankets? Imagine it: they'd glow in the dark for centuries, never grow mildew, be extra toasty warm. Of course they'd need a dire warning label like, 'caution, this will cause cancer and painful death' but pass out waivers, right? Think of the glow, the wonderful glow!"
Or suggesting to use a gigawatt laser to drill a huge hole into the Earth, installing two sets of electromagnets in an oscillating LCR circuit to contain and redirect the plasma from a tactical nuke later, covering the electromagnet assembly with titanium rebar and fluorinated concrete a few dozen feet thick to line the tunnel, then placing an M388 tactical nuke followed by all the stained sheets and pillowcases that patients have used as substitute toilet paper. Light it and see how far the plasma travels.
Or generally suggesting the usage of iron oxide and aluminum powder to fix all the broken machines, or just putting the pillowcase ironing machine on a rocket and launching it into the sun and replacing it with a hamster.

This makes all the sensors paranoid that they also should laugh and so they giggle nervously.... like "I should laugh cause boss is laughing but I dont know why I'm laughing" which cracks me up the most!! More than my own dark witty observational jokes lol (which are all excellent, just ask my infj boss lol) 😄

I found this so entertaining! One of the most beautiful ways our minds can create positive ideas in unexpected places, and knowing that I'm not the only one who finds amusement in the subtle strangeness of life. And man, do we need some more of that to go around these days.

It's a weird want I have but I want someone to put a hidden camera in my room and record how I walk around the room, talk to myself and laugh at random shit that comes to my mind, I realize what I am doing, how it looks from side and it makes me laugh. I thought about stupid things, laughed, then realized how it looked like for others if they were there watching me, and laughing at it. I'm crazy....

I don't know like when I start laughing at some shit I found funny people did or said they start being insulted like "hey, what so funny? am I so funny or am I a joke to you?", I just want to laugh even more. I just can't understand why people feel bad when they are laughed at, like really really bad. Or I create a meme and put the person inside it and he/she takes it as an insult, close to heart, and is pissed off about it. This is funny to be heartless D:DDD

Dry, witty, sarcastic humor usually. The office, Superbad, Jamie Foxx show for me.

Something that makes me laugh every time, the part on "Idiocracy" that shows the transformation of Fuddruckers, and the final result. I can't even think about it without busting out laughing! For years I couldn't even look at a Fuddruckers and keep a straight face!

as an intj, i remember vividly in my childhood, there was a really bad wind storm that caused all the big trees to be uprooted from the ground and the small trees completely slanted or crushed by the big trees next to them. anyway I was in 9 years old in the car with my parents otw to the store and for the whole 4 mile drive, I just saw big trees uprooted everywhere all over the street, sidewalk, on top of cars, smushed the smaller trees next to them, branches all over the road, completely uprooted in parking lots too.. i was laughing so hard for the whole drive, my stomach hurt soo bad, I couldn't stop the tears, and my parents who didn't understand the amusement and humor in the ridiculousness of all this, seemed genuinely concerned.

I watched a paranormal video, it was a cow getting abducted by a UFO. The cow was upside down with lights shooting out of his hooves. I laughed for 20 minutes straight.

I despise obnoxious humor but I love sarcastic, witty, slightly insulting, dark, and deadpan humor lol. Also, when I see people get mad for something super dumb I cant help myself
