How and Why to use the Concrete Moisture Probe - CMP - The Determinator

Tramex Meters' latest innovation in moisture testing of concrete slabs has, for the first time, given us the ability to compare two like units of measure with the Concrete Moisture Probe.
The Concrete Moisture Probe works with our Concrete Moisture Encounter meters to extend the reading into the same hole you drilled for your ASTM F2170 RH Testing.
Because the concrete moisture probe is not affected by heat, you can immediately insert it into the hole after drilling to take percentage moisture content readings instantly.
The ability to adjust the length of the probe allows you to fit in the hole of different concrete slab depths and get a percentage moisture content number in-Situ that should be one-half to 1% higher than your surface %MC reading.
This allows us to instantly determine if moisture is coming from above or below, and that's why we call it the Determinator.
