- The Lost World: Jurassic Park is a light gun arcade game from Sega. It was released in 1997 and is based on the film of the same name. It is also a sequel to Sega's 1994 Jurassic Park arcade game.

Spent so much money on this. The audio inside the sit down cabinet was incredible. Blasting dinos with my kid sister, great childhood memories.
The fact that this game wasn't ported to the Dreamcast is an absolute travesty...
When Dreamcast got announced I, thought this was going to be a launch title.

Back in the real arcade there was no crossbar, so shooting was so damn hard. You had to spend a lot of tokens to finish the game.

I actually find this version a lot harder though. I remember they had to modify the aim so you only have to hit the target approximately. It also feels like the reaction time here is a lot shorter as well.
This and the star wars arcade at PPP were my go to when I went there.
I miss when PPP had real arcade games :(

I think this looks more like a Crocodile. Because it has a pointy snout, Exposed teeth & it’s appearance is a cross between a few of the Largest species of True Crocodiles alive today. Like The Saltwater Crocodile, The American Crocodile, The Orinoco Crocodile & The Nile Crocodile.

@@8_bitdata Actually the last one is pronounced “Carnotaurus”. The Meat Eating Bull was originally planned for the 3rd Film but was replaced by a Ceratosaurus. It truly appeared years later in the 5th Film. Also, according to the Indominus Rex’s genetic file, it had the DNA of both Carnotaurus & Deinosuchus. So parts of them was in the 4th Film.

Does anyone else find the Carnotaurus really creepy? The way it turns invisible and how it slinks around the scenery always scared me as a kid.

Yep, I loved it, It's the coolest boss fight in the game. I remember when I was a kid, people asked me who I wanted to be when I grew up and I said 'Carnotaurus' because of this game. The claustrophobic level design, the elevator failing sound, the background music with the carnivore able to turn invisible made it so epic.
It creeps me out just looking at it in the video as a grown man now

I recall this mall with an arcade section in which they had this game, and some cool others such as House of the Dead, they even had a Velociraptor at full size.
Always wanted to play it, until they took the arcade away with this game included.

It was been in InGen. But this Prehistoric reptile was not alive. So they used the bones of it to give the I-rex its Broken and Sharp and Spreaded out teeth.

This game is soft canon but tbh with how terrible the JW lore works the InGen list is like probably infinite at this point (IIRC Deinosuchus remains were seen in Fallen Kingdom, along with Peloroplites and Teratophoneus)

It's because in the novel of The Lost World the Carnotaurus it can camouflage like a Chameleon. Remember that the "dinosaurs" in Jurassic Park are not real authentic dinosaurs because the mix of the DNA with other species
