    Like a lot of other propagating videos the glaring omission was not one mention of timing of when to carry out when to do these techniques, which is vital for successful results

    My comment was sent unfinished ! Over these 15 years all I have got has been leaves with yellow dots at the back which dry up and go brown. I may have had 2 or 3 flowers all these years. I cut them short but new leaves have the same problem. I've tried different pesticides but to no avail. Be grateful if you have any suggestions. Many thanks

    What does ‘callous up’ mean? Do you cut a piece and then leave it sitting up right for a week or two? Inside or outside in the garden?

    • @joanrossington6932
      @joanrossington6932 3 года назад +4

      Just lie it on the ground (in the shade if it’s hot) for a couple of weeks and the cut end gets hard. Then plant it and tie to a stake as the roots take a long time to develop and anchor the stem. Don’t overwater.

    I thought the grafting was my idea for different flowers on the one stem, obviously it has been done by these guys years before me , I'm impressed with the look of Jimmy Hendrix well done. I'll be using there grafting technique it's better than my technique . Because I'm still waiting for mine to flower ,
