no Drew, i will not learn to let go of how you just deleted i could use a drink and another (m)orons song i cant recall the name of >:( i get you made a musical and im sure its amazing, but i cant see it and i miss that stuff. can i buy the songs anywhere?
Hi! Thanks for writing (though I'm not sure I understand the hostile tone here. Maybe I'm misreading it?). First of all, I didn't just delete. Those songs were deleted years ago. I removed the material because as I evolve as a writer and a humor, my sense of humor is also evolving, and though many of those songs the Morons use to sing got great laughs in the room at the time, I've learned that certain words and messages in the song (though in jest) have caused harm and marginalized certain people and groups. And as happy as I am that people love those songs and laugh with us, it's not worth it for me to have them available for public consumption if they offend or hurt ANYONE. I must admit, I find it odd that you have such a strong need for these songs but you don't even remember the name of one of them. I am sorry that some of those songs had to be removed at the request of all the (M)orons, and I hope you respect our reasons why. It is my right to remove any material of mine and keep it from the public as I own the material. I have over 200 other songs on youtube, I have 10 musicals that I've written, and soon the Karate Kid will be on Broadway and will very likely tour the country and the world at some point, so if you are a fan I'd be honored to have you check out and enjoy any of that material. Thank you.
@@drewgasparini123 hey Drew, the tone was intended as cheeky -sorry it didnt come through in text. appreciate your answer and i respect your reasons but honestly i really loved the music and flow of the songs (which is why i cant remember the name right now). i have no attachment to the aged wording but im still sad i cant hear them now. id be very happy if at some point you guys revise them, but despite that i appreciate the explanation, because what i found most frustrating is there was never any reference to why they got lost - i spent hours searching for a forum thread or comment discussing it and came up short. at least now i know the reason and can have some
closure- i really appreciate that.
