For anyone confused by this like I was, he sleeps on a plane like there is a killer on board, as in he doesn't sleep because if a murderer was on board he wouldnt sleep
When im on a long haul flight, all I want to do is sleep. Pair of noise cancelling headphones (Bose QC35's was what I used last time) and I'm out, fast asleep for hours. I think my record is like 4-6hrs uninterrupted sleep. That was the 1am flight out of San Francisco to Sydney and I was tired as.
OMG, I am so with Connor on this. I used to fly 2-4 times a week. All the stupid people would stand up and stand there like idiots for 10 minutes. But the thing I hate most is the business guy who has to put his jacket on while 100 people stand in the aisle waiting for him. Like, dude. Put it on AFTER we get off the plane. I actually said that to one guy.
I love that fact that you can tell a cheap plane from an expensive one just by the fact that the windows and the seats don't line up in cheap planes because they added more rows over time.
Yeah. Having to wait for the baggage carousel is probably the biggest reason I just wait. Sometimes I still get to the baggage claim when it starts or most of the luggage is gone and mine is easy to find.
See I remember having to take the bus to school and I'd always get unbelievable carsick every time. Then I came up with a weird but simple method to make it to school without throwing up. I would lean forward and have my head hit the seat in front of me and press the top of my head as much as possible forward. For some reason it worked and I figured I would rather be than weirdo than the gross one who gets sick everywhere. It was a win win lol.
Its crazy. I have only ever gotten car sick twice and the first time I made it there and got off thanking god. The second time, it was rough. My immediate reaction was to ignore the window and stick my head as hard as I can into the back of the seat in front of me. As soon as the bus stops infront of school, vomit exits my mouth at the speed of sound. I have no idea how the rest of that day went but man did I hate that feeling.
This is why my carry on is always a decent sized backpack. I put a small pillow about twice the size of my hand in it. So, when I need to sleep, I just: 1) wear the backpack on my front (arms through the straps, and bag against my chest) 2) rest pack on my lap with pillow on top of the bag 3) rest my head forward on top of the pillow while sitting up. Low area taken up, and comfy headrest.
When my family is going somewhere on a car, we get some audio books. That is ideal to kill the time. Works in a plane as well, but you can read on a plane.
I can’t imagine looking at your side and seeing a man’s sleeping face in the space between your chair and the window, I am losing it right now. If Conner leans forward, and you lean back and towards the window, you’d be basically face to face with Conner. What if several years later this is added to the safety briefing in passenger plane, “to increase your safety you if can please sleep already in the brace position, thank you”, I am screwed I am still young, but my body is not that flexible.
I always sleep with my head on my lap or on the tray table. The con of this position is that I have been shaken awake multiple times by my seat neighbors because they were worried that something had happened to me
To me, plane rides seem really short (even those 10hr international ones). I guess it’s because I’m dreading the part when I have to deal with the airport procedures…
I try to always get a window seat so I can lean my head on the wall/seat crack. Or use the food tray until I lose feeling in the fingers (even with my pillow). Sometimes I actually manage to fall asleep.
I used to sleep on the tray table with a hoodie or blanket for a pillow. Now with kids I don't sleep at all. One summer I was flying home with my son and he was young enough to not have his own seat but the ac in the plane wasn't working well/at all. Luckily my son slept the whole 3 1/2hr flight but we were both drenched in sweat by the time we landed and he was mad about it when he woke up while we were all waiting to get off the plane. At least he wasn't screaming the whole flight. I also remember when airlines used to hand out pillows and blankets to economy. That was nice.
I get the window seat and twist my body towards the window I bend my leg and bring it up to the seat . My other leg is hanging of the seat almost completely. I take a travel pillow or my jacket and hug or put it in between the wall and seat. It's very hard to explain but I'm almost facing into my seat leaning into it and that's how I sleep sleep on a plane. Like curling all my body into the seat except one of my legs which i use like an anchor. But I'm short so idk how that would work for taller people. Idk someone should give it a try. Now that I'm remembering it also works on the aisle seat.
I always try to do that too. Sometimes it works and other times some part of my body falls asleep and it's uncomfortable. I must say, I'm also considered short, so maybe it's a short people things, idk
My problem with sleeping in a sitting position is that my head automatically goes forward, so 90% of the time I'd be awakened by me jolting back up. So since I was always traveling with my mom, I would lean against her (she only needed that inflatable neck pillow to fall asleep) to somehow keep my head stable. That or I wouldn't be sleeping at all, the flight route we were taking never took more than 5 hours.
I feel like people stand up right away because they want easy disembarkation. Usually if you don’t even stand up hunched over at your seat everyone already in the aisle won’t stop moving. So you’re gonna have a hard time stopping the flow and if you do you then have to grab luggage which slows it down more. It’s really more of a self inflicted nuisance than anything.
On the car, I often lean my head against the window or lay my head on the back of my seat. On the plane, same thing but it just depends on my condition if I feel sleepy or dizzy. Mostly sleepy cuz I only get motion sickness from vehicles and not airplanes. I always wanted to be by the window on a plane because I feel uncomfortable for some reason in the middle, Idk why, it's just that lol
When I fly I try to get as little sleep as I can the night before so I can sleep on the plane. What happens is that I'm fully awake on the plane watching movies I wouldn't watch otherwise. When I finally try to sleep it's impossible to find a good position. I doze off for a couple of minutes, wake up, sees that it's 4 hours left of the flight, tries to get back to sleep, dozes off, wakes up, sees that it's 3 hours and 40 minutes left. Rinse and repeat the rest of the flight. I hate flying! The only upside is that I've never had jetlag.
I don't care about getting off the plane fast when I've just arrived in another country cause I'm trying to stall for time, but when I arrive in my home country I want off that plane immediently. I literally just stepped off a plane an hour ago and I wanted to throw everyone out the way and run through the airport so I could be the first one through passport control. Ppl move too slow I want to lay in my own bed as fast as possible 😂😂
Well i used to sleep like connor in school bus...All of the other guys were always surprised and would act like it's some kind of spectacle that i am sleeping like that but guys listen me out, When you watch anime until late night then you have to cram in sleep wherever you can my sleep cycle was basically, i would sleep at around 1:30 or 2 am and wake up at 6 or 7 am so i had to complete my rest of the sleep elsewhere so after around 1 hour when i got on the bus i would instantly just lie down like connor on the seat and sleep for good 40 minutes. I remember my class teacher always used to say to me that i would always look half sleep when the school starts and by the time it ends it would look like some sort of new life was awakened in me
It's October 31st. Does that mean the road trip special is a Halloween present? Or should I say Halloween special? Unless... it dosen’t come out. Then you lied
Last time i went on a flight I did have to just stand for like 10 to 20 seconds just to stretch my legs and also the same flight that I am talking about it did have a tray for the phone which I thought was great.
i wonder if they would let you take a quest 2 on a plane because for watching a content its goated its better than any projector of the same price and your orientation and space around you doesn't matter at all
I never have enough space for my legs, bus, plane or train. It's either knees against the seat infront of me, which annoys the person infront, because they feel it whenever i move. Or tucking them in under the seat, which annoys the person behind me because they don't have the full space for their feet that way.
Wishing you a quick and easy transit to our fair city. The roads are a bit hard to navigate(though google maps has made that considerably easier) and while we may not be the friendliest by default, we usually do not have any problem with answering questions for directions.👋
I‘m probably the wirst person to sit in front of. I slid down on my seat and push my knees against the seat in front of me, till my back is basically horizontal. And then i get like a neckpillow or like a jacket or just a normal pillow and put that between my now imobile shoulder and head, cause they are stuck in place against the backrest.
I have flying anxiety and never sleep longer than 30 minutes. I have motion sickness so I threw up a lot growing up. I have sensitive smell and gasoline makes me nauseous but I learned that masks help a lot. The only form of transportation would be the subway, not sure why.
I sleep on a plane like there's a slasher on-board. I don't.
For anyone confused by this like I was, he sleeps on a plane like there is a killer on board, as in he doesn't sleep because if a murderer was on board he wouldnt sleep

I can pass out on ny flight any position. Sleep os my natural staye of being, nothing in the 'verse can stop the nap.
understandable
I don't sleep on planes. I nap on planes.

We need a fan art of connor sleeping in the crevice between the window and the seat 🤣
Yeah. Having to wait for the baggage carousel is probably the biggest reason I just wait. Sometimes I still get to the baggage claim when it starts or most of the luggage is gone and mine is easy to find.

I miss traveling so much I hope I can go on a road trip with my friends one day.
Just tried sleeping like Connor does on a plane in my chair. Ngl can kinda see where he's coming from
I ALSO SLEEP THE WAY CONNOR DOES!! My family makes fun of me for it but I'm glad theres another coma sleeper out there. Does make my legs numb tho
the coma strat 😂

That summoning salt plane joke just earned you gentlemen a subscription

""MF gets off the plane looking like shaggy" - Joey 2022
Oh I also like to sleep with my head on my legs in tight spaces like that
I’m suprised more ppl don’t just wait for everyone to get off, a lot less stress connor got the right idea
13:48 It's that once scene in Attack on Titan with the titan peaking through a crack in the wall
To me, plane rides seem really short (even those 10hr international ones). I guess it’s because I’m dreading the part when I have to deal with the airport procedures…
Nah, like I’ve been stuck on a plane for almost an hour after landing, I’m not getting up to just be stuck standing.
and this is why i bring a neck pillow on planes. solves all the problems.
I try to always get a window seat so I can lean my head on the wall/seat crack. Or use the food tray until I lose feeling in the fingers (even with my pillow). Sometimes I actually manage to fall asleep.

This makes me wanna fly somewhere no place specific.

@@keynobi9258 yes same. It's worked for me most of the time. But there are times i wake up because one of my legs needs to stretch.
I never had an tv on an airplane
8:26 this is where phone grips come in handy haha

Nah i just sit there. Its not like they arent going to let you off i can wait and not be squashed.
I only get motion sickness while on a bus.
sounds like spirit airlines

I just don't sleep on planes, I can sleep in a car very easily but not a plane, I just can't.
better safe than sorry I guess
I like how the criteria for me to sleep is just having a chair xD
I can sleep immediately if I'm tired.
On the car, I often lean my head against the window or lay my head on the back of my seat. On the plane, same thing but it just depends on my condition if I feel sleepy or dizzy. Use inflatable travel neck pillows. I used to use them when I used to travel a lot.

Yeah I also wait for everyone else to get off the plane and at the luggage claim carousel

Going into this I’m very curious as to that opener of a thumbnail
the only way ive ever fallen asleep on the plane is in first class so i just avoid red eye flights
i relate to Connor so much
Idk its weird cause im 6’3 and i do the shinji pose when im in class dozing off
I did a D2 raid on the train
Well i used to sleep like connor in school bus...All of the other guys were always surprised and would act like it's some kind of spectacle that i am sleeping like that but guys listen me out, When you watch anime until late night then you have to cram in sleep wherever you can my sleep cycle was basically, i would sleep at around 1:30 or 2 am and wake up at 6 or 7 am so i had to complete my rest of the sleep elsewhere so after around 1 hour when i got on the bus i would instantly just lie down like connor on the seat and sleep for good 40 minutes. So much Carbon :(
Connor never used anything with a kickstand, huh
Never been on a plane, dont know if i could sleep haha
i wonder if they would let you take a quest 2 on a plane because for watching a content its goated its better than any projector of the same price and your orientation and space around you doesn't matter at all
By the end of October hmmm 🤔 is there only two editors ?
i sleep the same as connor i dont feel its weird
I always wish I had a neck pillow

There's no point on "being the first" in a flight
If you don't get up right away, someone from the row behind you will creep up and try to block you from getting up when it's your turn.
Moke.
Funny how I see this the day before I fly to Boston by myself for the first time
Edit: I made it to Boston okay
