When Gabriel gets to the wistle part, he leaves everyone in shock. I love seeing people's reactions to this part of the song.
The church uses Gabriel to tune the piano. Seriously he is so talented and has so much control over his voice, and his breath control is insanely good. I’ve learned so much from this video! I know Gabriel since he was 15 years old and I have to say that in this microphone there is no autotune, if you see the interviews or lives with Gabriel, he does exactly what he is doing in this cover without microphone. Gabriel is a force of nature, wistles a part. I love your video, the technical explanations is very nice, thanks.

I think there is a bit of a vocal delay in the video which may look like autotune. If you watch the rest of his videos abs live performances, he is def not autotuned

He was somewhat of a child prodigy and sang a lot with bands growing up. Like it did all artists, Covid put him inside not only singing but also training. Gabriel is the Superstar that very few know, but I think that's going to change for him. BTW, I love your reaction. Your expertise & sense of humor make a brilliant combo.

What an absolute joy it was being introduced to you for the first time. You're funny and full of expression, not to mention a vocal coach - which brings with any reaction a bit of anticipation of what might be criticized, or, accepted. You seemed to embrace Gabriel wholeheartedly. And he didn't drop the baby.
I'm not one to readily suggest any one of his performances over another. They are all great on their own. What I would suggest, however, is to dive right in. There is SO much more of Gabriel's talents to discover and you will NOT be disappointed. Pick another and GO.

So currently it’s 2:16am, I’m relaxing from an exhausting shift. Is it weird to say that your reactions and your presence makes me feel…calm? The reaction is incredible and he is an amazing singer! But you, you calm me and you make me feel at ease, I come to your channel when I feel as though a panic attack is occurring or when I feel just not right and you never fail to put me back into a comfortable mental state and for that I say thank you. So I am kind of addicted to Gabriel reaction videos, so I have seen a lot. But this was my favorite, as your reaction was honest, technical and fun to watch. Looking forward to seeing more!
If you want to hear one of the best covers of this son, So Hyang (South Korea) will blow you away with her near flawless technique (per other experienced, knowledgeable vocal teachers) while singing with emotion. She is the queen of the mixed voice, belting, vowel modification, etc. and made this song her own. To give you evidence on how good she is, Michael Bolton attended her performance of "Lean on Me" (his song) and called her performance a 'virtuoso' an offered her to tour with him- which she refused because she is a devout Christian who sings for God and to comfort others, not for fame or fortune. One of the greatest female singers on the planet today, who is relatively unknown.

Great, she clearly knows what she’s talking about. I would just like to add that he *can do it all live,* there are tons of videos on his Instagram to prove it. The mixing may sound or have a little bit of effect to sound like a professional recording, and not just like a voice over a soundtrack, like some kind of karaoke. It’s simply for blending everything together.

Please please Fairy Voice Mother i beg you to watch "I Wanna Know what love is" that he sings because its a much more "raw" version of him singing in his car, and is perfect to analyze the mouth shape and placement and the positioning too, please react to that, im sure you are gonna love and had a lot to analyze on that. Coming back to this video almost 3 years later because i love this analyse you did!! much love!
