That's natural. What's not natural is thinking you have to play just a single game all the time. Come and go with games as you please. You don't owe them anything.
Because it's become so complicated that it eats up all your time and it's a pain in the ass to jump back in after an absence!
I disagree with you about people not having fun. I think there’s a lot of people who genuinely enjoy playing the game. Making boards and breaking boards is fun to me. Some times you get hosed but that happens in every card game, yugioh is just exacerbated because the turns can take a long time.
I love BA and your content, but maybe the game will feel better if you play a deck that isn't tier 7 lol (this is a joke I sincerely hope Konomi fixes the game for all of us)
@@connorthompson22 I get it’s a joke, I haven’t played a game with BA in about 2 years, I’ve played a lot of decks but I’m not dropping $$$ on a game that doesn’t reward its players with anything other than a vanilla prize card and a 6 year old gaming console 😅😅😅
@@drewtraveleroftheburningabyssYou clearly don't play for fun, you play to try win money. Your part of the problem. Don't take that attitude to pokemon, don't poison Pokemon.
@@mattbell3130 I play to win. Anyone who plays not to win is by definition a loser. I enjoy Pokemon significantly more than current yugioh and it’s FUN, but I’m not playing to lose. If you play to lose that’s on YOU and you should think about that.
@@drewtraveleroftheburningabyss I play to win. I don't play to make money. There is a difference, but also I don't mind dialing it back to match my opponent sometimes. Enjoy pokemon. I'll be a happy loser over here and enjoy yugioh and my community. You are the toxic player base you claim to hate. Edit: I should add I redistribute all the prizing I win at my locals to other players, because I have been that guy that plays to win prizing, and I don't want to be that toxic guy again.
My question is have you ever won the Nintendo switch mf be complaining about the prize support and don’t even be winning 😂😂😂😂😂
@@Shortprinted most retarded take I’ve seen in my comment section… I’ve won multiple Nintendo switch tournaments and sold them because I can afford my own 🤔🤔🤔
Sounds like a skill issue
@@itsmanalo sounds like someone didn’t watch the video
@@drewtraveleroftheburningabyssWho watches before commenting anymore?
The first community story is something that's just in every community sadly. Not intrinsic to Yugioh, card games, or any hobby for that matter. Magic judges had a ring of sleazy PDF file behavior, for example. Honestly, all 3 of your stories aren't exclusive to just Yugioh, I've seen some outlandish manchildren in the MTG and Pokemon communities.
@@avarice25 it’s gonna happen, but considering those incidents plus everything else wrong with this game on top of that I’d say that YuGiOh isn’t worth it anymore
By process of elimination, sounds like it's time to leave the big 3 and set sail for One Piece.
I still maintain and have for well over a decade that the core issue is not Konami but the players themselves.
It’s also no surprise that there is an uptick in people saying the game is terrible after the kinds of people you talk about become very sucsessful content creators and constantly bring up the issue to generate clicks and views.
@@mrbubbles6468 yea I wanted to share my experience of things I’ve seen over the years and how I went from playing at the top of the food chain to seeing how awful this community can really be. It is sad and I do blame the players a lot for what the game has become.
@@drewtraveleroftheburningabyss
And than you for that. The community is seriously terrible and honestly needs to be called out way more often than it is.
Play magic!!! Its so fun
@@notjustnerdytv I’ve played before, MTG just isn’t what I’m looking for
@@drewtraveleroftheburningabyss totally fair. I love commander but I can see how it wouldn't for people
I heard it's like yugioh where if you weren't an early adopter, then it's harder to get into now. Lorcana is like cuter MTG without lands, and it's brand new, so I might do that.
@@spicymemes7458 nah. You just gotta find the right pod. Also the bloomburrow set is cute af. But also if the community near you is toxic...
@@notjustnerdytv It's alright, but I don't really have the drive to invest in another card game too deeply. I've played a little, but mostly using friends' decks.
warhammer age of sigmar or 40k much better games
You're just getting too old to keep up
@@jacobwilbers9852 strong disagree, I’m actually just becoming too wise to deal with a negative investment.
@@drewtraveleroftheburningabyss sorry I even said that I must be having a bad day I was negative with you for no reason.
@@jacobwilbers9852 don’t get me wrong I’m still “old” but there’s plenty of older players 😜
@@drewtraveleroftheburningabyssThe attitude that the game is an investment is one of the biggest problems in the community. If you take that attitude to pokemon you will eventually poison that community to. The only investment in card games should be the fun you have. You should only spend what you think is worth the fun. Financial return focus kills communities, and if you perpetuate it your part of the problem.
@@mattbell3130 you sound like a brainwashed yugioh player to me. One day you’ll understand that. I’m not playing for fun in Pokemon, I’m playing to win and make money. That’s exactly why I stated multiple times in this video that I’m playing time wizard formats for fun. Once again, if you listen to my whole video you’d absorb a lot more information and maybe retain it.
