I'm 68 and bought a double wide needing cleaning and so much work. I call this my Rent a Center Penthouse. I have to buy like this I have no help and am a widow. It's a slow process Iam also trying to raise lionhead rabbits. My body was so sick but God has been healing me.❤😊

blessings for continued healing in all areas. I was single for awhile after my divorce and having to do and deal with everything on you own is so hard. Maybe there is a church near you that the older youth can help you with some things. Just a thought.

I love your new patio furniture. With the dress, you could always wear tights and some boots and a jacket. Just a suggestion. That’s what I do when I want to wear something that doesn’t quite fit the cooler weather we’re having. ❤

That patio furniture is stunning! I believe you are going to have a lot of fun making memories on your patio. I don't think I would add the cabinets in the living room. I would be afraid that in such a small space I would begin to feel the walls closing in. Maybe some open shelving or something like that if you are wanting the storage space. Whatever you decide I'm sure will be lovely.

Habitat for Humanity restores always have a variety of cabinets.
Stephanie, have you thought about checking Habitat for Humanity ReStore for wall cabinets? If you’re planning to paint them anyway, it won’t matter what color/finish that are. We reused wall cabinets for our built in coffee bar. We added beadboard panels and trim to change the look, then painted them. I wish YT allowed us to add photos so you could see what I’m talking about. 😕 Also, we used those pine wainscoting boards to plank our kitchen ceiling. So gorgeous! If you want to see what that looks like, you could check out Edith and Evelyn blog. Cindy, the blogger inspired me by posting her kitchen ceiling. ❤

I'm so glad to see you! In 2022, my husband and I went on a Caribbean cruise and came home motivated to update our patio with a Caribbean theme. We chose the same color pallet as you and I love it! I too need some new plants and flowers but waiting about a month for our weather to warm a little.

You can boil your eggs in your air fryer. It is so easy. Put the eggs in the basket and cook at 250 degrees for 17 minutes. I just dump them in the sink with cold water. They peel really easy and you don't have any pots to wash. Love you show. Check at your local habitat for humanity for cabinets. You may be able to find a good deal there and help someone at the same time.

Steph, Be careful putting your hands in those leaves. I was getting up leaves last week and came across a snake. Plus, last fall, I actually found a snake on my outside tables hanging off of a flower pot. Now, I use my rake and not my hands. Scared the heck out of me. Lol.

Suggestions - I keep a small tape measure in my purse. Good to have when you're thrifting, garage sales, etc. I also keep measurements of windows, furniture, some areas of my house on 3"x5" cards, in my purse and color swatches.
Cabinets - I like the ones you're looking at. Maybe check at Habitat for Humanity and Market Place, you may get lucky.
Legs for the Island - look at porch posts, they'd be tall enough, may be able to buy one and cut it in half.
The new patio chairs and table are really nice, they look very good quality and nice and sturdy. Teal is a good spring color!

I love your new patio furniture when I can't find my measuring tape. I use string 😂
You can use shorter one and use 1 by 4 s and pue it around the top to make it taller. You would never know it did not come that away.

Really nice sitting area and the pillow find was perfect. I need a outdoor box too. That fitness center is really nice. I hear on u tube the people that travel in vans and buses sign up at them to get their showers on the road. Good idea. Enjoyed the video.

I like the idea of the wall cabinets for entertainment center, I myself have a mobile home with little cabinet space an I myself have decided to do wall cabinets fro a lower cabinet base because there not as deep, so I love the idea❤

Our Lowes recently started carrying Ready-to-assemble cabinets that are in flat packs. They're actually even cheaper than the cabinets you're looking at!

Stephanie, Idea: draw your idea for this cabinet on paper with the wall-measurements and show your viewers and get their ideas. If I understand you need 2 up and 2 down cabinets (the narrow ones)? Will it house your TV in it? Or will it look like a letter “ H” the tall side you plan to be the cabinets on sides and a shelf in the middle to connect the sides, like the letter H. I hope I haven’t confused you too much. Or you can tell me to mind my own business. Anyway good luck. Becky 😊

Just a thought when looking for legs for the butcher block counter… go to the outdoor section and look for the stair spindles or deck spindles. You might need to sand them a little but you aren’t new to that DIY - it will give you the length you are looking for and probably the girth but for a fraction of the cost.

Also check cabinet shops that make cabinets. Sometimes they have old ones they've pulled out of a house. They often throw them away.
I love that patio set! What a great oasis! I need to get back on track healthwise too! It's so hard to stay on track when life takes a turn. I lost my last parent a couple of weeks ago and I told myself my health was going to be priority once his funeral passed. So tomorrow is the day to get back on track!

I put the pre cooked bacon between paper towels and cook for 30 seconds at a time in the microwave until desired crispness.

I use the already cooked bacon all the time. I always crisp mine up in the microwave; usually at about 35 to 40 seconds. It depends how crispy you like. Very good!! Really enjoyed your video as I always do; thanks so much for including us in your busy day!!!

Me too. Love it❤. Perfect crispness. Microwave 30 to 45 seconds. I love a BLT and bacon and eggs. Use 45 calorie whole grain bread from Sara Lee. I have used the great value brand fully cooked a few times and it is good also. No muss or fuss bacon. Perfect for one person.
I like the new patio furniture. Your patio looks nice. The weather here in southern PA has been changing a lot. Quite a bit of rain, windy, cool temperatures, warm temperatures and then snow on and off Sunday with light snow covering the ground. I was happy about that because it was a birthday gift from our heavenly Father. He knows I like snow and what a perfect day for it. Last Thursday it was in the 60's sunny and breezy. Each day you never know. I am ready for Spring!!!!

Patio furniture is so pretty. Love the color. Always check your Habitat store. They usually have cabinets. FB Market place. Ask around. You know at Lowe's you can just buy cabinet doors. You could build the base. Price out the materials. Also All the home centers change out those cabinet displays. They sell it for a fraction. I bought high dollar faucets for $20 each. Just ask.
