Isn´t that fascinating? The Music even without the Visuals makes you feel just a special way. For me, it is this score who does this everytime. It is, for me, the best piece of filmmusic there is. John Powell did an awesome job creating the scores for the movies. I just watched them today again and i burst out in every emotoin on key parts of the soundtrack... With Test Drive and this score this is at its peak. I study Music, and i understand a good amount of Music, my passion is film music... And yet, i could never replicate a score as awesome as Mr. Powell did. My lack of friends enjoying Music the way i do disturbs me greatly.
I know this is late, but for anyone reading this - never, ever set a song you like as your alarm. You'll grow to hate the song. I once set an Undertale ost as my alarm one time, and even to this day whenever I hear megalomania, I feel like I'm drowning.

I love the percussion in the beginning! It's so calm and innocent and it just sounds so beautiful. I had a music box sound font and I just altered it's sound and it turned out like that and I thought that sounded pretty close to the original. This was definitely a challenge lol I don't think I'll ever be able to amount to the original score's amazing sound but once I get a computer and all my essentials I'm definitely going to try re creating this again

I went for the like button. But when I hit it, I unliked it... strange... So I promptly reliked it. Either I've seen this before, or I bumped the like button unintentionally. Either way, it's great! My only criticism is a lack of depth. The original and some other remakes have a lot of variety in instruments and a rich sound. This seems a little bit flat. Other than that, great job!
Yeah I know. I tried downloading a wider variety of soundfonts but this was just the result of what I had to make do with. I plan on remaking this in the future when I have more to work with :) but thanks

the original midi file was created by Sebastian Wolff. i can't seem to find it on his site though so i can't give you a link to it. i'm sure if you look up "forbidden friendship midi" it will show up somewhere. but i still have his midi file on hand if you would like me to send it to you.

If you're talking about the actual original Frobidden Friendship score, there are tons of those uploads here on RUclips. Piano covers of this score are also common here :) just google forbidden friendship sheet music and you'll find some. As for the instruments in the original score, I know they used strings (violins, harps and probably others I don't know of), percussion (flutes/piccolos, or anything similar. I'm also still trying to figure out what kind of drum they used. I know they used some sort of xylophone like instrument I'm just not exactly sure which one), they had a choir and I think there was a little bit of brass around the end... hope that helped.
