You might not see this, won my first club tournament last night. I credit it all to this video. Made a 90 break in the final whole club clapped. Best feeling ever. Thank you so much for sharing these amazing videos.
BY FAR THE BEST consistent snooker RUclips teacher on the website. Even with years of experience, you can learn so many things from every single video this dude produces.
Was so relieved to hear you say that correctly following those steps is exhausting. I thought there was something wrong with me mentally and physically when practicing this routine. Just can't wait for clubs to reopen to get practicing again. Thanks for another great instructional video. Clear directions with top tips.
I play a bunch of straight pool racks for practice, thinking the same thing about watching the cue and object ball. You have been a huge boost to my game and strategy. Thank you for the videos!!!
My stance and movement is one thing I've had to work on for ages (and the local players constantly ask me about). The basic problem I have is that I'm very tall (6ft 7) and also have a lifelong problem with some fused vertebrae at the base of my spine, which makes it extremely painful to do the textbook stance and cue action consistently. As a result, I've had to develop a very... different... way of staying stable and comfortable on shots, involving bending both knees, being much less rigid overall, and having an aiming style where I sort of lock-in my aiming point then raise my chin off the cue. It generally works, but I'd still like to find improvements where possible
Minimize movement, stay relaxed Always line up the shot Don't change your mind Make sure the cue ball went to the right place Pause before shooting and Focus only on aim on object ball when down, then on cue ball Place foot on the right place
Break from life thanks for the reply. So ideally walk in on the shot address and feather the cue ball then look at the object ball when you play the shot ? Thanks Ben
We can’t thank you enough for your videos and advices! I just find the front page of the videos a bit messy (sentences on all directions)... i know it’s the stile of the channel since it started... but I think it a shame that we cant at least get the title of the video clearer in the front page (probably to put it in the middle of the picture, in big characters and/or a different colour than other sentences); this would be helpful especially that you make reference to other videos by showing only the front page of these videos (without giving the tittle); also giving a number to each video could be helpful (probably too late ;)). Anyways thank you again for your efforts and commitment. (Watching you from morocco, the sport is getting popular little by little; you could probably do a video from there? )
This is a very good video. The head movement section is very interesting because ronnie does this. I saw a slow motion video of ronnie and he was doing it. His head went down on backswing and up as he braced to come forward. Please explain this more..is it just for the purpose of keeping head still/down or for reasurance of cueng straight.
Hey break from life, I was down the club recently and my opponent told me I was holding my cue too far from the butt( about six inches), I positioned my hand there because it was comfortably and fell perpendicular to the cue where I was told it should be, he said your hand should be on the butt regardless, is he right and should I alter my cue action or stick with what’s comfortable and try and improve my current cue action
@@Breakfromlife thank you , you are great But I have a question I really do what you told but some days I can't pot simple shots I don't know whats my problem
Hi, so nice videos here. aiming to start playing regularly, I'm playing pool for 6 months and I'm average player. I've played snooker few times, with highest break of 25. Is it recommended to start playing snooker now, or master the pool better and then start playing snooker? Thanks in advance
Hello, Thank you so much for guiding in SNOOKER game i am a big fan of snooker From Afghanistan,Kandahar. I really like your videos they are really nice and I am your 118963, Viewer and subscriber> WKR
Just to be clear, the "point on the object ball" @ about 1:15, that point is where the line of aim touches, but not the contact point where the ball clashes right?
The 3rd one in the video is a serious problem for me. Everytime i get down on the the shot the line doesn't look same qnd i change my mind and always miss
Some days i go to my local club pot most balls go in on another day can't pot a thing and it's really frustrating I miss balls you can potentially with your eyes close
Thanks! I hadn’t thought of the blue tack idea and yeah the glasses are an expense that I have to debate paying. Enjoyed the video though and it’s great to see someone who really cares about their viewers
You talking about movement and adjusting for it reminded me that I play 9 ball league with an old man with Parkinson's, and that geezer can SHOOT. He'd be looking like a leaf in a hurricane while aiming and then next thing you know, it sinks.
Theres an old fella in my local pool league who's exactly the same... watching him lining up shots you'd barely believe he could hit the cue ball from how much he shakes through the entire shot... then before you know it he's 3 frames up and left you in the world's nastiest snooker! It's quite incredible to watch!
Um No, Shady was a concept I came up with where I talk about playing shots in the video as if I’m a different person to the one playing the shots. I thought it was a good idea but unfortunately I just forgot all about it. A Stone actually appears in one of the videos was supposed to appear in more but couldn’t.
It’s looking like Selby has got it unless Ronnie starts to play at his best soon. I think Wilson will probably start edging away in the other one at some stage

Not played for about 5 years, watching you play made me call a buddy to go play this week! Can't wait to see how rusty I am!
Thank's for all your fantastic video's! This one has helped my Game immensely! Keep up the great work!
Started to watch some other videos as well, some really good tips on all i have watched so far. I just go to start doing them.
Great video! Step 1, 2 and 7 particularly work for me.
Thank you so so much. Sir your tecknics have improved my pool shots for sure
I`ve learned a lot from you sir. Thank you. Keep the videos coming.

This can be an issue, I know Mark king uses a similar stance. Sometimes you just have to do the best you can with these things.
Very informative and interesting video to watch. Learned alot from watching your videos. Keep it up

Hi
What do you look at as you play the shot. The cue ball or the object ball?
Thanks Ben
Ideally you want to see where the object ball is struck as you are looking at it
Break from life thanks for the reply. So ideally walk in on the shot address and feather the cue ball then look at the object ball when you play the shot ?

Excellent video! Would a headcam video of break building with dummy ghost ball in each shot be possible ?
It is difficult to keep still enough with any headcam to stop anything I put on the screen from jumping around all over the place

Can really help you see the shot better. It’s surprising how much your still moving when you think you are completely still.
Wow... Good basic,i play it well thx
learnt some valuable lessons. awesome video
Thanx Man.Its very informative.
Hi at 1.10 if you aim in a straight line 26 mm from the edge of the red ball will this have the same affect and pot the ball.
The best guide
this helped me greatly. greetings and thanks from Pakistan 🇵🇰
Really enjoy your videos! Great stuff!

Ciarán Cooling :cue arm should be vertical while addressing the cue ball regardless of how long your cue is .
As Mark says ideally it should be vertical. It will change as well when you have to get closer to the white and play shots off a cushion.
the best laser ad ever.
Very helpful
Great job! Thank you
It would be better if you make a summary of your video in last minute of your videos.
Thanks
Yes I could really do with getting that in there somehow

Ty so much
sir how to put chest on cue .....
And how to deliver cue where u aim
There’s actually quite a lot about this in Saturday’s video
The 3rd one in the video is a serious problem for me. Everytime i get down on the the shot the line doesn't look same qnd i change my mind and always miss
It can take a little while to get use to this but you get there in the end

thanks, I'm off down the club...!
out of interest what video software do you use?
Perfect video
Do you offer tuition?
Did u see dat blue thing? So cool
Man, you are awesome
Sir, what will happen if l strike two unlike balls at exactly same time?
If a referee see it that way it will be called a foul
“When you’re under pressure”

Okkkkkkkkkkk

Kkkkkkkkkk
Nice thx
GOLD!
You brought 2 balls on the table by clicking your fingers, thats Awesome. I've been doing it all day, nothing's happening. 🙂
You see what you are doing wrong here is attempting to make snooker balls appear on the table. I’m focusing on changing half the frame
It’s so hard to keep my chin on the cue and actually see the balls properly because I have bifocal glasses! Any tips? Struggling with this issue
Tried to answer your questions with a video but I think I failed m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=108519876911549&id=100032606109089

You play really good. Just one thing is improve your stance a bit. Your head goes to the right a bit. This may not be good in longterm.☺
It depends on your dominant eye.
Every video you day explained in other video
Please make a video on kicks
i love all those " *subscribe* to the channel" plugs u do lol. nice one on these videos btw, helpful 👍

you are so good player you must go real matches
table holl two much big easy to pot the ball
Why not participate in tournaments? U have a decent pro level bro
So jealous of your table.
It is really playing well at the moment as well
thank you, would be better if you wore a mic
I think this is just before I got one
You are a snooker doctor🥴
Like, you know all problems while aiming and their solutions too.
8:16 that's what she said!
Fun
I'm short and can play pretty well why are taller people crap at snooker?
Because the shorter (lower) you are the more control over the ball you have
Why is his cue bent?
Probably because I accidentally left my camera on fisheye mode again
