The interesting thing about covers of this song is that, at least to my knowledge, the flutes for xc3 were specifically made for that sound, so getting a similar sound is extremely hard with normal wind instruments as the flutes have such a high pitch. And you really accounted for that in this cover and thats really cool
FWIW, those instruments were _decorated_ for XC3 but are standard shinobue. Not too hard to learn, and not too expensive to get started (though prices definitely jump up pretty quickly.) You need an 8-hon uta (aka a C) for the Agnian parts and a 3-hon uta (aka a G) for the Kevesi. A 6-hon (aka a Bb) is also handy for the various tracks in Gm, but not essential. You are right though, the Agnian parts in particular are deadly high, almost shrill enough to hurt your own ears (or at least mine) and definitely high enough to annoy housepets. lol

I was so absorbed by the story that I wanted to progress it as quickly as I can, and in doing so, I actively avoided any unnecessary battle. The first time I was forced to battle a Unique Monster was inside Keves Castle with the Black Triad and man, that battle was tough but the music made me push through.
The only bad thing about this song is the name. I saw it in a search early on and thought I was spoiled on a remix of the original YWKON. As amazing as this song is, it in fact is not a remix of YWKON. They should have at least given it a new name lmao.
This song always makes me feel so emotional, it feels so much like a farewell track, and this rendition is no different. Awesome stuff. ;u; Also I need that Nia poster ♥
