I've said it before and I'll say it again, your rice cooker videos have changed my daily eating game! Actually eating good meals at home on mat leave right now, and I've even started making little single serve freezer meals for myself (on the rare day the energy comes through lol) to make these rice cooker meals even easier. So glad to have found your channel! 🙌
I love watching you make things in your rice cooker. That is so very inspiring to me. I like all the recipes you chose today. I am all for lazy cooking for often I don't feel like making the effort. Please continue to make more rice cooker recipes. Your videos are awesome because you are concise and clear.
Thank you for these videos! I really enjoy watching them. You have such good ideas on how to season food. I’ve started to copy some of your meals and they are yummy! As for a name for your rice cooker…naming something is so personal- I would go with Minnie because I am a Disney fan, and I have lots of Christmas ornaments where Minnie is cooking and baking 😊. I think I will name MY rice cooker that myself! 😂🤣
Can u please please tell us the time it always takes to complete the meal in the rice cooker? I want to take my rice cooker camping and I'd like to see how much my power station will take to cook it.
It depends on the weight of what you are cooking and the moisture content! For rice based meals it takes the average time for the rice which is around 20 minutes give or take. For the pancake it was much lighter so it only took like 12 minutes. It depends on the size and brand of your cooker as well! I’ve never had any thing take longer than about 25 minutes.
By cutting up the chicken you are increasing the surface area compared to the volume; the heat has less work to do to fully permeate and cook the chicken since more of it is directly exposed to the heat and that helps it cook more quickly. I still find my rice cooker cooks a whole defrosted chicken breast perfectly without using the keep warm function, so I tend to just put it in whole. Thanks for your great recipes! It was in part thanks to you that I got a rice cooker in the first place a couple of weeks ago.
I’m not sure! I know the instant pot needs a certain amount of liquid for it to come to pressure so I’m not sure the pancake would work, but I’m sure lentils and chicken and rice would! It’s worth experimenting with for sure!

I would name the rice cooker Mimi or Rizzo (expansions on the Chinese or French words for "rice").
I was thinking Rizzo too! So I’m just going to add my vote to your comment. ❤
That was fun and looked delicious! Thank you
Thanks so much for watching!

Question - Would these recipes work for an Instant Pot on the rice setting?
I’m not sure! I know the instant pot needs a certain amount of liquid for it to come to pressure so I’m not sure the pancake would work, but I’m sure lentils and chicken and rice would! It’s worth experimenting with for sure!
Love these rice cooker meal videos. Definitely got inspiration. Could you swap chicken thigh for breast?
