I went with a friend of mine who is a big fan of Tim to a show in Gatineau, Quebec. Tim was opening for a band whose name I can't currently remember. I went because my friend bought the tickets for me and though I thoroughly enjoyed myself, I was moved nearly to tears by this song which was played at the very end of the set. What a way to end it! I loved this song and I wish I could explain how much better and more emotional it sounded in real life compared to the studio version. I was honestly disappointed when I finally got home and listened to the studio version because Tim's voice and delivery was just so much more impactful outside of the auspices of the studio. My only regret in going to that show was not bringing a tape recorder because that was the most beautiful rendition of this already beautiful song I can ever hope to hear.
