Unbelievably well done...as an introvert who would have been totally overwhelmed at such a gathering...your contrast/comparison of how you perceived the event was amazing. Thank you for sharing in such a heartfelt way.
Absolutley love this. No talk of headline news. No talk of politics. Just plain down to earth folks sharing fellowship, food, thoughts, and love for our land and each other. God bless America! :-)
Thank you so much for showing us a quick glimpse of the festival and for the time you put into showing it! You guys look like you had so much fun, and it is incredible to see all the diversity there. What a fantastic event. :)
From one introvert to another, thank you so much for this video. Beautiful. Have a Blessed Week **HUGS & PRAYERS** from Kelly and critters at Piney Haven Homestead.
Loved the video! I totally agree with everyone else that you are a GREAT storyteller. We enjoyed the festival this year. It was our first time....and hopefully we can attend many more.
I kept thinking, where is Lawrence? They couldn't have gone to Baker's Creek without him. LOL What a crowd of growers! WOW! Looking forward to seeing everyone at Homesteaders of America.
It's about your courage introvert. And it's about community of which I wish I was young again and to able to be apart! But.....I can be with videos like this. Thank you....🙂
Just came across your channel when you popped up as a recommendation. I’ve been watching a handful of homesteading channels for the last 3 months or so. I just wanted to say, you have a true gift for storytelling. You should DEFINITELY expand that into writing or video documentaries for SURE! ❤️❤️
Hey Y’all I’m new to your channel. The title drew me in! It’s funny how gardening brings together all walks of life. Your craftsmanship in editing is spot on👊 I’m married to a introvert if it wasn’t for her I would never shut up😜
It was an enjoyable time to see folks from all walks of life come together for their love of nature. Thank you for your perspective. Glad we got to meet you. May God bless you and your family.
One more video and then we'll be releasing current videos that will be more focused on our homestead and family life. It's coming Soon! I actually can't wait to get back to making episodes about our property, house, and family. Thanks for watching Vivian. :)
That was beautiful. Love your comparison. I got a chance to go after the Shin dig and called it Woodstock for Gardeners. Now you know my generation. Lol
Woodstock for gardeners, my generation as well 😂 I think this is truly an amazing event! Wonderful people who want a better way of life! Bless you all 👍 💗
I have just become a subscriber, I am so enthralled. I am at the beginning stages of planning a homestead, with my husband and 4 year old grandson. I watch you and your family, and yearn to get started. I have to remember that patience is key at this stage. Not an easy task. Thank you, for all you do, and share! Praying for you and your family, from central Georgia.
...such a wonderful community of humans...people who care and wish to learn what EXACTLY we put into our bodies (and souls) for nourishment, healing, brain/body function and growth...thank you so much for sharing...☮️&🌿 's
Haha, I would say yes, I somewhat trust an introverts perspective on social gatherings my daughter is one. I like how you summed it up too. And that little bit about filming info between you and Natalie. You all are blessed with a great tribe indeed!
Man! This video was awesome!!! Hello I’m Angel with K&A’s Family Homestead. This is my first year with RUclips and although im going on 4 years as a homesteader. I’m still learning everyday. I just wanted to reach out and say your doing a great job. And I hope for next year , I’ll see you there at Baker Creek spring planting festival :) Thank you
Thank you...a wonderful video! 👏☺️👍💗My daughter and I were there, so this is a treasured memory of a great experience at Baker Creek! We got to meet your wife and little Ben, but unfortunately we didn't get to meet you, Ethan. Hopefully we will see you all at another event. It is great to see so many familiar, special homesteaders in this video. You captured this wonderful, special event so well, and your narration was great, thank you... blessings to you and your dear family! 🌱☺️🌿💞
I've been to both. At Baker creek we fought the mud and at Burning man we fought the dust. Both festivals have great stumble upon unexpected serendipity experiences. The festival more in between these two is Friendship Flea Market. (It has good creek/nature activation)
Little House on the Prairie 2019 beautifully narrated by Ethan. And, just like the show did, you made me laugh and cry a significant part of the way. You are a true storyteller. You really could do amazing things with your own series of homesteading life. It would be a joy to read. Just base it off your and Sarah's story and life experiences and it would be a best seller. You definitely have a gift.
Burning man for Gardners X-D too funny. Zach has been to Burning Man a few times he loves it. A lot of people from various beliefs coming together. My interest run more history based events. I look forward to shaking it up & start going to homesteading events. I have heard of people going to this event & seen some footage. I have to say that you guys did a great job! It looks like more than I thought!
It was great seeing you there! I didn't know you'd be there. You're definitely one of the most cherished people I've met in the last year. I'm blessed to consider you as a friend. You're an honorable man.
I'd love to attend some of these larger festivals and fairs, but so many are far enough away that they are multi-day trips, which we just can't pull off, financially or strategically with all of our animals. It looks like a lot of fun though. And I also recognized a lot of familiar faces. Your video was as close as it can get to being there without actually being there.
Thank you for the kind words and encouragement. I have thought about writing. In fact it's the one thing (getting a book published) that if I don't do before I die I'd feel like I missed my mark a bit. ~ethan
@@official180degrees I am an author, my first book through a publisher will be out hopefully in October. I did 4 self published books that did not do well because I had no marketing, they will come out with the publisher in time. I am using a high-bred self-publishing platform. You pay so much up front and they take no royalties until you get your money back. Plus my royalties are more like 30-40% rather than ten. They do still have the same criteria for publishing and only accept about 10% of manuscripts submitted. Please let me know how I can encourage and support you in your literary journey. I had no one supporting me through most of my journey and would have greatly valued the support. So I committed to the Lord I would help others where I could. I have been doing so with Jess at R&R as well. Yes you can ask her. ....... Father God, Fill Ethan with the messages you desire to touch others hearts with in such a way he has to write them down. It is like Burning Man, People from all walks of live getting together as a community to share the way they live to better each other. Burning Man is about Art and the freedom to live the way you like. Baker Creek is about living simple, off the land, creating life where there is none, watching life grow before your eye, and being able to have it feed you body. Our Homestead is in the high desert just South East of where Burning Man is held. Were are to far to make the trip how to Baker Creek, but I hope to see who we can in Santa Rosa. Thank for sharing you trip and Say hi to all in The south east. - Jeff

Almost 6500 views in one day! You’ve done a great job with your content and growing your channel. #goals
It’s a funny thing, I think all of us gardeners may be introverts. It’s our love of nature and solitude.
Yes!
I certainly believe that

You forgot to mention the hippies in the school bus. ;) Great video. We sure enjoyed our campfire pow wow . Will you be in California for the expo?
We can't afford to go right now unfortunately. :( Are you all going?

Hi guys. Nice video, as always. Good to see you guys are doing well. "Some of them are vets" kinda struck me. Why are we drawn to homesteading?
Drawn to the idea of self-reliance, perhaps?
Thank you for your service, Sir.
Wheres the huge fire though :) was awesome to see. Glad your getting out there
It is a love-fest for sure and the biggest cross-cultural event I attend!
Burning man is so wicked, I sure hope its different at baker creek. 😊 God bless! ....No, way to many Great people right there.

It would be fun but we won't be making it. Too big of an expense. If you pester Baker Creek to bring us out there... who knows! lol
Are you guys at the Homesteading Life conference this weekend?
