Really considering buying this for an everyday casual pictures but was having a hard tine looking for an in dept review. Thank you for sharing this specially for going an extra mile including the material and how it feels on the hand - that was very helpful to a visually impaired / blind person like me. Id say this seems like a decent replacement for my current camera as its busted and i just need something to carry around until i can afford a proper new one. How long does the battery last?
I don't "run my batteries dry" so I can't really say just how much use you can get before recharge,,,,,,,,,, but keep in mind that you can always recharge the battery without needing to open the camera (by way of micro USB). You also get two batteries, if I recall correctly, in the box.

This video is so good, but how can we transfer photos or videos onto phone or computer?
Connect camera to computer using a charge&data micro USB cable. Power camera on, go into file explorer (or whatever it's called on your computer) and you should see a new drive that wasn't there before. Open the drive and find the folder with your pics/videos. Copy and paste the files you wanted onto your hard-drive.

Can it zoom while recording?
Once you start recording in video mode, you are locked at the current level of zoom. Once you stop recording, you can change your zoom amount.

How do you take out the battery?
There is a little slide tab on the bottom to open a door (If I remember correctly).

Yes, it has a setting for 24MP, as well as 20 & 30 on either side of that 24 (all three of these use interpolation however).

@@xpos._ Also, during charging with the unit "off", a red light will appear on the back,,,,,,,,, and then the light will shut off when the unit is fully charged.
