Red Bull X-Alps 2021 - VLOG Paul Guschlbauer - DAY 8

Yesterday was another crazy day Red Bull X-Alps😬 While Team Maurer/Theurillat has made an incredible good flight of almost 400km 🤟🏻, me and most of the other athletes were kind of locked in the Mont Blanc area. Together with Tobias Grossrubatscher I spent most of the day trying to find some thermals, almost without success. Just before the last downglider at 9pm, a heavy thunderstorm rolled in and forced me to hide in a cave at 2.600m - until my support crew came and helped me, it was damn freezing cold. And wet.
