Something that may help you out. When putting the legs down hold it as if youre rolling it with the wheels on the ground put those legs down first on the side with the handle. Then set it down it should be resting on the wheels and legs on that side. Then go to the wheel side and lift that and put those legs down. Much easier! Also flip the handle so its not laying on the ground when the saw is stowed that way you can get your fingers under it to lift it up 👍🏼
Thanks for the comment! I'm still using mine. For what I paid for it, it's working great for me. Appreciate that you watched the video! Best of luck to you!!!
The drone footage was a little wonky but I like the intention behind it. How are those wheels holding up? I like the idea of being able to roll the saw up into a corner or into a shed to save space but the rollers look kind of cheesy.
Thanks for the comment! Yes, the drone kinda does what it wants to some times. I usually either pop up a drone and let it sit there and video tape, or I’ll put the drone in follow-me mode and let it go on its own. I do 99.9 percent of all my videos by myself. I enjoy adding the footage in my videos so there are other perspectives on what I’m doing and what’s going on. The wheels are a bit cheesy yes, but they’ve held up for me so far. It is nice to be able to role the mitre saw outside and cut wood up from there. My garage would be a mess with saw dust if I didn’t. I appreciate that you watched the video. Best of luck to you!!!
@@GrayTrend I was curious what drone you're using with the follow me feature. I have an older dji mini 2 but unfortunately it does not have that ability.
@@quazimoto5241 Cool, I started with the DJI Mini 2 as well. It's a great drone and I still use it sometimes. The drone I mainly use now is the DJI Mini 3 Pro. The "follow me" mode is very simple to use with it and I love to way it works.
Seems like this one would be a direct comparison for the DeWalt compact one that has a similar wheel setup. Know what I'm talking about could you give me any advice between the two if you know anything about the DeWalt one. I'm asking cuz this when will match my rigid saw pretty well and it's $50 cheaper than the DeWalt
Thanks for the comment! Sorry, the least expensive DeWalt miter saw stand with wheels I can find is this one at Home Depot for $229: www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-32-1-2-in-x-60-in-Rolling-Miter-Saw-Stand-with-300-lbs-Capacity-DWX726/202935041 I do like the way you can lift and maneuver the DeWalt stand with the miter saw still attached. Seems easier than the WEN stand. It's ultimately up to you and your preferences. Best of luck to you! Let me know what you get.
@@GrayTrend forgive me, I meant to say the Ridgid version. I do see a DeWalt version but it seems it's more intended for a table saw. Ridgid has one just like the WEN. That's what I meant to compare or ask about. Also which DeWalt stand did you go with. Thank you for taking the time to chop it up on here.
@@PDillz I was going to say something about the Ridgid compact miter saw since it came up in my search for the DeWalt, but ultimately didn't bring it up in my comment. I believe one difference between the WEN and the Ridgid miter saw is the WEN has the 3 power outlets attached to it. Not that I've used them. I wouldn't want to steer you wrong, but I do like the way the Ridgid compact miter stand looks. Although, my wife says, looks aren't everything. I didn't get a DeWalt stand. Just the WEN. It's worked out well for me.
@@GrayTrend oh I thought a read in the comments you later got a ridgid stand, perhaps that was another viewer stating they had the web but later changed to the ridgid. I see the ridgid model has small legs on the one side of the roller bracket so you can move the one roller up to make the base longer when the stand is folded up, it's supposed to help with the tip. I'd buy the ridgid model but the bigger easier to fold model is only $20 more at the moment so I'm hoping the small version will go on sale soon or I'll just pull the trigger on the bigger one. Just over kill for me and I know it. I'm just some guy, also what my wife said haha
Yes, the miter saw in this video is my DeWalt DWS779. I did have to use some extra washers to attach my miter saw to the WEN miter saw stand. Nothing too hard about it though. I have an unboxing and first use video here that shows how I used washers along with the bolts and screws that came with the miter saw stand: ruclips.net/video/-e0mIqU0SDs/видео.htmlsi=6z9Ott8e4Brysic9 Appreciate that you watched my video!!!

Can it stand up straight with the saw attached?
