It actually turned out a lot better than I thought it would when Jimmy bought it. Congratulations to all involved, and I hope to see it in person one day.
I have to admit, I never thought Jimmy could pull this off but gotta give him credit.
Jimmy you're a genius. This thing spent almost 40 years in the desert, and nobody wanted it. Now a bunch of keyboard commandos hiding behind their avatars criticize you for taking a risk and preserving history. This nation was built by people with guts that took risk and worked hard. Ignore the losers. Viva la Maquina!
Hi Jimmy. This is Randy in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Words cannot describe how wonderful the Elvis jet turned out. It is a masterpiece! Love your channel. Keep up the good work brother. The Lord really has His hands on you. God bless.🙏🙏🙏
Hey, I live in Chatty as well!! I couldn’t agree more! Jimmy has done an amazing job on the Elvis Jetstar. Brings back memories I flew the jetstar 731 back in the begining of my career.
It’s amazing to watch from the phone call he received that the other bidder dropped and he won the bid at auction to this.
I have family near Chattanooga. One of them, my Dad, is named Randy. Small world!
I'm from the Chattanooga area too. I agree with you. So cool
ELVIS is rolling in his grave that thing is NASTY. Randy you have got to be kidding.
Great wrap job! Elvis is smiling from heaven!
Well done Jimmy. Great job, I thought he had dug a big hole when he bought this at auction. Just proves, with passion and great vision anything is possible.
@@garethconnett7672 You haven't watched Jimmy's video. This is still a work in progress. The interior isn't done because they didn't have time. He had a couple professional detailers come in an clean the interior the best they could. They said there were a few stains they had trouble getting out. His goal is to keep the original interior, but he's going to make it more functional. Air conditioning is high on the list. The cockpit still needs a lot of work. They're going to reupholster the seats and they still need to finish installing all of the controls from the chassis. They basically just had time to hook up the bare minimum before they left. Stuff like the switch for the jakes was absent. I'd like to think one of the longer term goals would be to have a functioning lavatory and kitchen. That'd eliminate the need to bring a second RV along for 1 or 2 day trips.
Hey Jimmy, thank you so much for deciding to fly it into Oshkosh. She absolutely flipping BELONGS there. Blue skies, man!
6:50 "So, let's take a look at some of the details ... go inside if possible?" Jimmy should have said "Sure, got ten bucks?" :D
Was great to see it at Oshkosh after following its journey on RUclips .
I think a GREAT name would be "Burnin Love." Fantastic job on the build, Jimmy. You and your team hit a home run.
Better than i imagined. Maybe have some audio/video pieces that can play on loop Elvis tv, and music inside and out to make a more complete experience. Good job
Great looking build.
As a commercial truck driver, I've got to ask how change out those drive tires or roadside change outs in the event of a blowout?
We've survived a number of blowouts with a low deck step trailer, which is always an event and generally happens at night.
can't believe how great looking it is. The "body panels" of the RV chassis are amazingly well done. Great job. Hope you get to the Northeast sometime. I'm originally from St Pete, graduate of USF
Amazing job Jimmy and crew! Really amazing when you consider all they had to overcome.
Jimmy stopped by Graceland on his way to Oshkosh and they fired the girl who let him into the parking lot, so let Graceland know how you feel about that.
Sounds like the people running Graceland aren't very "Rock And Roll" because I'm pretty sure Elvis would have loved something like this back in the day.
Jimmy, you really knocked it out of the park. I’ve been following this since the auction and that’s just amazing follow-through brother. Great job good example for your kids.
He must have used that Milsek furniture polish on that wood! I sent him a case. Great stuff!
Jimmy you did a fantastic job on this jet!
Hey Jimmy !! Congrats you made it !! !!
Congrats Jimmy and Crew! I really enjoyed the build and driving videos of the Elvis Jet! It turned out fantastic!!! I hope you can bring it to Arizona someday...I'm sure the Pima Air Museum would love to have you visit! 😁👍
I toured the two Elvis Jets at Graceland...one really decked out with 70s decor, including crazy bedroom
It's sad to see it without wings and tail, but Jimmy had nothing to do with it getting to that state, and saved what he could in the best way he could take it to as many people as possible.
Wonderful and tastefully done.
Congrats Jimmy!!!
Grizzly driving was sweet.
Been watching since the purchase.
Burnen love.
Awesome job and great to see this come to fruition. I think you'll get the last laugh having a great fun time with this, regardless of if some crazy Elvis collector buys it off your not.
It is going to be a distinctive attraction for many years
Jimmy. You are going places
Jimmy has the heart and soul to make it memorable!! I am so happy that he went through with this crazy project that most people would have not done so Thank you Jimmy!!

This is great!!
Jimmy that turned beautiful
So well done
Way to go Jimmy. If it ever comes back to plant city I'll go see it. I missed the day you showed it at Plant City Airport.
The Elvismobile! My aunt would have loved it.
I think Jimmy has done a amazing job considering how bad it was as a jet .well done keep trucking .🎉
Hey Jimmy,
I went to Oshkosh on Monday and saw you, but unfortunately, I was too shy to speak directly with you. I saw Elvis jet RV and noticed you were busy. I had to leave the next day to return to Houston for work. I felt that coming to say hello might have been awkward 😬. Maybe next time, I will feel more confident to disturb you, haha.
🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂. Very cool, Jimmy!
Jimmy, any connection to Webb’s City?
Wow, somebody bought it. Nice work.
Outstanding 👍
It looks great. One suggestion: put "The Elvis Jet" in big block letters on the skirt.
Lisa Marie 111, With that name they can't refuse you the photo op with the other jets in Memphis. May even shame them into refurbishing them to tour worthy condition too.
Elvis jet or a couple million beer cans scattered all over the planet.
If you have not named it yet. How about The Elvis Jet Mobile. Plain and Simple. Awesome Work Done so far…
That is neat. The cocpit need work. A steamer will get rid of the stains on the ceiling.
JIMMY!!!!!
I wonder if theyre coming to NYC
Florida engineer-man..Awesome
Elvis was 6' tall.
is it for sale
It should have a real low drag coefficient, especially for a motorhome!
You should have had working pitot tubes and a working airspeed indicator in the cockpit... then you would have a speedometer AND an airspeed indicator! Hell, you could have had a working altimeter too.. then you would know how high you were from MSL AND a Gyro compass... LOL... How cool would that be!
Ya fooled me Jimmy (In a good way)! Been watching since before you got the “first” phone confirmation while driving down the road. You stuck with it man through thick and thin. I guess you can add “Visionary” to your resume with no problem from anyone. Name for the Jet… it’s already on it for the whole world to see in giant letters and a cool graphic. And with a deep, low and beautiful voice I can only say: “ Thank yuh, thank yuh very much”. (and best regards)
He fooled you even more... Elvis NEVER flew on the jet‼️
@@wstlndiesel: Actually he flew on it several times when being on Top Secret missions for the CIA. I know this because I was his handler back then (and was instrumental in arranging his fake death). He says Hi by the way and is going to surprise Jimmy by taking a tour of it disguised as an impersonator.
@@garyfairbrother5532 If they believe that, you'll tell them another story. DUH!
@@garyfairbrother5532 You did a great job with the jo impersonator on Thursday! You only got the height wrong as he was at least 6" taller than the real potato. Send my regards to the mask crew for making yet one more silicone master piece !.
@@Mercmad:?????
jimmy how can i buy a peacs of the plane
Looks great Jimmy. Nice work. Just call the RV “Elvis”. Short, sweet and simple works every time.
Elvis was never on that plane.
Good gosh! JIMMY is COOL as heck! Can I be your son?!?!?! LOL
In what world would someone spend that much to do this? Why Jimmy’s World!
It's kind of ironic that you say give a list of why it will never fly again while at Oskosh, a large crowd of people that will say "hold my beer" and then make it fly again.
Had he bought $230k worth of NVIDIA stock 18 months ago, he’d have turned that into $1M.
...take another hit, Jimmy!
Double omega honesty god give it to a child to solve it
Peace Love live
I think every plane should have west coast mirrors 🤣
What to call it ?
EL-BUS RV
That is flat awesome! A great way to save a piece of musical and aviation history.
Now to team up with the wiener mobile and the peanut mobile. LOL.
Hello Jimmy. You have to make the seat's off limits or there will be nothing left of them. In the video everyone was flopping there butts in them!
Somewhere there has to be some pics of Elvis with this jet.
Elvis NEVER flew on the jet‼️ Its all a huge SCAM‼️ Welcome to AMERICA 2024‼️
And somewhere there has to be a pilot who flew Elvis around in this jet. 👨✈
@@jamesburns2232 There could be but depends how old he was at the time.
No pictures. Elvis never fly in it you look up
@@mitchellwestford9312 Interesting, how do you know that?
Next project 2.0😊😊😊😊
Please..... Don't get him started again. LOL
Version 2.0 Please😆😆😆😆😆😆
He paid $250,000 for the Jet, put $100,000 in parts and labor into it for a total of $350,000. Not sure how much the Wing Tags brought in.
He’s a good enough businessman not to tell, but I did the math on the number of tags made and how much they’re selling for. If I remember correctly if he sold every tag made he would nearly double the money he spent on the Jetstar originally. He says in the video he’s sold half the tags so far so I would guess the original purchase price is just about covered, though not the RV build. I think he always planned for the tags to cover the whole project plus a little extra if they all sell.
I figured out at the beginning that was his plan from the get go. He’s both a good businessman and a good showman so he plays up how crazy it is what he’s doing as if it’s all spontaneous, but folks forget he made his fortune as an entrepreneur. He had a complete plan to not only break even but make a profit plus steady income off the whole thing before he ever spent 230k plus on the Elvis Jet. :)
Jimmy is genius.
Jimmy is a SCAMMER‼️ Elvis NEVER flew on the jet‼️ Its all a scam to promote his RUclips Channel. There are no pics or flight log showing Elvis as a passenger.
Elvis bought that 8 months before he passed. He never even stepped foot on it and the interior was done by the previous owner.
I bet sunshine is jealous of you! So bright and cheery you are!
Boxcar willy is driver.!!!
It was named the "Hound Dog", according to the Graceland tour guides years ago when it was parked there. Why not stick with that?
Elvis was also 6' tall.
Seemed like such a crazy buy. Imagine spending $350k on broke down plane just to turn it into a crappy motorhome. I mean if it was Elvis's only jet then I could maybe see it's value but Elvis had three jets and this was the worst one.
Amazing machine!!!! What a *fail* , structurally speaking, square windows turned out to be!
I think you should name it Pelvis.
Google says, "Elvis was 6' tall."
@ 14:54 Version 2.0?
name it Lisa Marie
Elvis has left the plane.............................
Maybe his Ghost did leave the plane, long, long, ago, way back when!🤣
I called it a Jetterhome, but that's just me.
Name: THE BEAST.
