When the GM engineers designed this car they made changes to the 4.4L Northstar with increased cooling flow within a reinforced block, oil cooled pistons with a reduced 9.0:1 compression ratio, stronger rods and bearings. To make the most of the supercharger the STS-V gets a low restriction intake and exhaust.
The front and rear cradles are reinforced. Along with Sachs Shocks and a Quicker Steering Rack. Front Wheels are 255/45R18s the Rears are 275/40R19s wrapped around a Brembo Braking System. The V also received Larger Upper and Lower Wire-Mesh Grill Inserts with a Front Fascia 2” Lower and Power Bulge Hood. The Rear Fascia is lower with a Rear Deck Spoiler. The interior receives full leather with olive-ash burled-wood trim. Bose 15 Speaker Audio with Moonroof.
