Excellent Sleeve Video! You are a Pro at this! I would have had 50 pins flying across the screen trying to pin fabric/telas together. Thought only the feed dogs of a "Walking Foot Machine" could "track" fabric as well as your Industrial Straight Stitch Machine does! Your Sewing Sleeve Instructions make a lot of sense, and I no longer have to "reverse engineer" store bought jacket sleeves when patternmaking.
Encore une superbe vidéo, tout paraît si simple avec vos explications. Mille mercis Diane pour çe cours et aussi pour le sous titrage français, vous êtes géniale... 😜
DIANE, please teach us how to do a placket on a pleat, some tunics come with a pleat with placket at the center front. I have no clue. Love you from Claremont, California.
Hi Diane, love your tutorials, they are very useful. Can you do a video on a the back vent of a jacket? It's a little different than this one because it's completely open.
Could you make a video on how to add notches to the pattern of a tailor sleeve, and a pattern for the lining of the sleeve? Or could you explain it in a reply to this comment? :)
Hi Sophie, the armhole notches come from the bodice armhole and the assembling notches from the construction of the sleeve, as the host I do not have the option to send attachment but if you send me an email, I could send you my recipe for tailor jacket and sleeve. dianedeziel@gmail.com
I just double check, and i notice that I had to shorten the hem to be able to fit on the pages, (from 5 cm hem to 4 cm), but the rest is all the same and I used it hundred time with my student. Also check the printing scale the drawing is so big if you have it on adjust or fit the page it will be reduce. Diane

Hi
Thanks for your comments. You could email me at dianedeziel@gmail.com and I will send you the PDF of the pattern
Diane
Diane, I would love to also get the pdf. All patterns do not come the way you have explained. Do you sell patterns? If not, you should!
Is it me or is the patterns given different to what your using? The seams don't seem to line up the same as in the video :(

The pattern self bottom cut1 is 1 inch shorter than cut2: they don't match eachother!!!
This is kind of a fake tailored vent. The lining has to be in the vent as well, this is a vent just for show.
Hello Ranbir,
Yes like in most jacket
Diane
Sewing made easy!Really love this. Thanks
