- In this RUclips video, we tour and review 3 of the best travel trailers for tall people. We walked through hundreds of camper trailers at the Hershey RV Show and found 3 awesome campers with good ceiling height and king beds, which makes these high ceiling travel trailers perfect for taller people.
We surveyed our private Facebook Group called RV Camping for Newbies, and the consensus definition of a tall person was anyone over 6'5" tall. All three of the camper trailers in our video have a ceiling height from 6'9" up to 7'.

Minor point, but you use a wide angle lens, which makes it hard to judge size and space.
Finally, a person shows us taller people trailers that will fit us. Good job. They don't call me Talldude for nothing. LOL

Thanks Susan and Mike, great reviews. My 2 cents. Not a fan of anything Winnebago, but it has a nice fridge. (too many people talk about service issues with them, in the negative). The Forest River is nice, owned by Berkshire Hathaway, just needs a bigger fridge. The Lance, lol, way overpriced for what it is. When they change the fridge they'll just raise the price 6-7k. The front sofa, or whatever it's pretending to be does not in any way look comfortable. Thanks again for your work.
These are all great points. I did think the Lance sofa was a bit of aa after thought. Curious to see if there will be a price increase after changing out the fridge. Let's hope not! Thank you, as always, for your support!
Thank you for doing tall ceiling (6'5" here) travel trailer videos. All of them are very nice but out of my price range. I'm looking at the Surveyor 202RBLE as my next trailer. At 25 feet long it looks to me to be the perfect trailer.
You're welcome. I'd be curious what the actual sales price would be on these TT. I do know RV show prices are drastically reduced. The Surveyor 202RBLE is a great floor plan - still a very spacious bathroom. Best of luck and thank you for your support!

I love the Winnebago and the Forest River. Lance is nice too! But I like Forest River for the luxury. Love the interior. Mike I had to laugh when you said on the stove you could up hot dogs and beans and sauerkraut. That was funny!

That Forest River Grand Surveyor was our favorite too! Perfect for couples and that bathroom was amazing! That is truly what he would cook! 🤣 (Prior to us changing our meals to a healthier lifestyle) We've cut back on our hot dog consumption. Thank you Sherri!

I really like the Forest River. It almost feels more like a house than a trailer. Great kitchen and who wouldn't want washer/dryer hook ups? The bathroom is great too. The Winnebago is also pretty nice. I really don't like the Lance, especially for that price. Maybe it's built better?

That first Winnebago refrigerator looks HUGE! Might have been the lens you use. The second one looks beautiful! I like the different design! I even like the Lance! The desk might actually be awesome! Keep in mind you can use that TV as a second monitor for a laptop or other device.
The Winnebago fridge is very wide, doesn't go all the way to the floor. We loved the Forest River Grand Surveyor floor plan!!! That's a great point about the TV in the bedroom of the Lance. Love that office setup! Thank you Erin!!!
The Lance bedroom with the desk/TV was beautiful, but I was in love with the Forest River - the spacious kitchen/living area, luxurious bathroom, and the decor. But.... I don't need anything that big so I'll just enjoy your videos! Thank you !😊

Great video. Is it safe for Winnebago to place electrical outlets in their slides? I always thought it was a safety feature that prevented manufacturers from using electrical wiring inside a constantly moving in and out slide.
It is rare to see electrical outlets in a slide out but not completely uncommon in some RVs. They have to account for the additional electric wiring for that movement. I think they avoid it if they can. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting.

I thought that a residential king measured 76"×80

You missed the 3100kxt and 3250kxt. The 3100kxt is 12’6” tall, with a ccc of 2737 lbs. And wait until you see the shower height. 😊

Having toured through many RVs that past 5 years, we've seen quiet a few low quality floor plans. These TT were in pretty great condition, but there will always be something a little off or below standard. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting.
Find a real one for tall people please. Would need to include Raised counter heights and a toilet that I'm not hanging off of...
There are no RVs with raised cabinet heights. You could possibly add a comfort height toilet as an after market product.

What a wacky combination of floor plans. While I think the second one (Forest River Grand Surveyor 268FKBS) is pretty close to perfection, the third one is absolutely terrible. There is so much space in there and it is totally wasted beyond measure - so you pay 100K for this nonsense where all that as left available for a shower is only fitting for narrow dwarves.
I (Susan) was not a big fan of the Lance floor plan, except the desk in the bedroom. I didn't really care for the sofa layout mostly. Thanks for watching our RV tour video and commenting, we appreciate your support!
@@RVBloggerI didn't understand how the quality looked so much lower in the Lance that was $40K higher than the first one. I loved the kitchen in the first camper.
