That’s a stonkin’ ride mate! What a beautiful machine, and the design of the rear pegs are utterly brilliant. Triumph nailed it on this one. I’ve admired the Rocket since it’s initial launch, but your vid made me WANT ONE!

I have been on many different bikes. From Bmw S1000RR, GS1250, H2, various other amazing motorbikes but nothing comes close to this! The rocket really ripped my socks off. The stability, the looks, ride position, features, the brut brut power on that massive wide back tyre. My oh my!!! This is the king of kings!!! Yes some super bikes will be quicker but nothing, nothing comes close to this beast. This bike will cause families to split up. Go try it for yourself and prove me wrong. Truimph GT 2.5 Rocket is fu!#ing amazing. The KING OF KINGS. Everything on this beast is fantastic. I love love love this masterpiece.

Hi Richy, great "First" review mate, but I totally agree with you. I saw the bike in the bike press pictures and thought it was beautiful. Went to the bike show to try one for size, and had to fight to get on it.
I put my deposit down in January for the first of march, but I didn't actually get it till the 27th of May. I went for the silver grey GT, just coming up to 4000 miles and I still can't stop smiling, I don't think that torque will ever get old, and the burble on overrun is fantastic.
Ride safe mate and I'm looking forward to more of the same.

Superbikes were always in my blood. Nothing could change that. Then along came the Rocket 3 GT and stole my heart. Like you said we are not youngsters anymore. Same thrill but with much more style and power. Who needs 300+ anyway...? With a passenger on the loooong road is much better on a Rocket GT.

I've found the fuel gauge ok on my Tiger Sport, had the same issue when I first had it. If you let the tank go down to almost empty then fill up after a couple of times it will behave as normal. In my experience anyway ... great video.

And he runs up and smashes the ball into the net. Whoops - it’s not a soccer channel, it’s a bike channel!! Richy you nailed it. This big and I mean BIG brother of the Speedmaster is some bike and you’re the only reviewer who’s expressed the absolute joy and thrill of it. It’s just a fab bike. I’ve got a whole “team” out doing paper rounds so I can buy one. Never mind whether the kids can eat - get them out to work too!! You’ll be needing a bigger garage and I’ve got planning permission underway for an indoor footy pitch just to house this beauty. It’s a toy but my god what a toy - thanks so much for the best ever review! Yours aye, Alan

I testrode both the R and GT, the later hurt my lower back after about an hour, on the R however, I can ride forever. Ended up buying an R. Also sold my 2021 R1 for the room and funds, which I loved. But too close to go to prison each time I rode it. Also, your ass hurts after half an hour. Very happy with the swap!

I share your enthusiastic appreciation for this bike
live in Texas, and I just bought a used 2021 GT with 2000 miles on it, in ice grey three tone.
The original owner put a werx exhaust on it.
I was going to test ride a Tiger 900 after test riding the Rocket.
I fell in lust as soon as I cranked it up. After the test ride, I completely forgot about the Tiger.
The torque on this bike is so brutal, it makes you behave…..for a little bit
    I absolutely LOVE this bike
No buyers remorse, or wondering what another bike would be like

As regards the 3rd turn signal function: I had an 08 Victory Vision Street, that when signaling a lane change one need only push and hold the lever for a minimum of 3 flashes and then would cancel automatically when you released the signal lever. If you mistakenly released the lever at anything less than three blinks you would have to take that extra step to cancel. Unless the lean angle was sufficient that the signals would self cancel. I really liked that feature as it was very handy on long Interstate (or motorways on your side of the pond) trips. Unfortunately have yet to find that feature on another motorcycle.

the pegs on the rocket 3R needs to be raised about another 1 inch or so, so that it's no scraping the cement when riding on twisty roads...

Take it on the motorway, any gear, whack open the throttle and marvel as your feet pass your ears. Then, try and understand what just happened to your spine. The only thing wider than the rear tyre will be your grin!

I love my 21 GT, after a Boss Hoss 5.7L I thought I couldn't get the same acceleration - I was wrong! In Sport mode it hauls like a demon! And it goes round corners. I love everything about it and I'll never sell it - it goes in the will. The torque is a big number until you ride it. And it's not that big and heavy very low weight - easy to manoeuvre - check out the green lane footage. Rain mode meant a Welsh tour was no issue - never squirrelly. And doesn't it look good?

That's not the bike I'd guessed you were getting.
I've always wanted to have a go on a Rocket 3 since I first saw one. It must be a rush, all the torque.
Those rear foot pegs reminded me of the rear footpegs on my old Honda CBR400RR NC29 Gullarm. Those rear pegs folded away up behind the fairing when not in use 👌.
Anyway, the Rocket 3 is one for my stable when I win the lottery 👍

Been hoping you'd be doing a review on the Rocket3 since I first saw it a pre-release, press & customers event at Triumph York about a year ago.
Full production model, and yes, I noticed the pillion pegs.
As a newbie at the time with a VFR as a 1st bike, it blew my mind 🤯🤯 A bike with a bigger engine than 90% of UK cars on the road?! WATF!

Enjoyed watching that Richy. Don't know if you collected the bike from the factory at Hinckley but if you go upstairs in the visitor experience they have the early test mules for this bike. It actually had the Tiger 1200 engine in the Rocket frame. Anyway there is loads there to look at if you are a Rocket fan. (Alternatively there is a vid on my channel about 8 months ago showing it)
Looks an awesome machine but think I would choose the other model with the pegs in the more conventional place. Cheers. Richard.
