- We’re in East Lansing walking the campus with legendary basketball coach, Tom Izzo. During our walk and talk, Coach Izzo gushes over the beauty of the college campus and shares stories of his disdain for books, email and the internet. The Hall of Fame coach said he enjoys the beauty of the Michigan State campus so much, it actually played into his 2010 decision to stay put and turn down an opportunity to double his salary and coach the Cleveland Cavaliers.

My son and I were at Indiana to watch our Sparty football team play. Tom was about 30 yards away hours before the game. He was about to go up the elevator to the press box and I called to him. He walked over and spent 5 minutes talking with us. Class guy....Go Green!
Him and his family are amazing people! Amazing people! Steven I met when he was 17 actually and I was 16 and played basketball with him at my friends who loved next to his beach house on lake michigan in my hometown

That’s funny. If having the most wins in Big Ten history, also won the most Big Ten tournament titles (six) in conference history, 10 regular conference titles, 8 final fours , 24 consecutive tournament appearances (3rd in the country), and wins 73% of tournament games, and is in the basketball hall of fame. If that makes him washed, then I don’t even know man. Your just tired of his success😂

@@zeza8603 He’s still the man who has more wins than Bob Knight. He’s still the hall famer. 3rd most consecutive tournament appearances, and with his W percentage in tournament. The stats not only show he is a legendary coach but he’s an unlucky one. You don’t get 8 final fours not being good. You don’t hold the all time record in your conference with out being a legend. It’s ok to hate losing to him but saying he’s washed... Cmon man.

@@zeza8603 so all those achievements and he’s still washed? Your calling the man who has the most wins in his conferences all time history. (Please don’t be a fan of a Big Ten team that would be embarrassing because he has the most conference championships aswell) So your telling me all the great coaches and players all around the world are washed unless if they have more than one championship? Lol alright man. Keep thinking that. Once a champion always a champion.
