Took a STriple RS from Triumph Glasgow out for a test ride last summer around the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and it was an absolute blast to ride on the fast twisty roads in the park. Handling and braking are fantastic and the noise it makes just makes you want to go faster!
I do like the MT07, nearly bought one when I was bike shopping but the triple had to be done. Just got it derestricted so expect some videos in the future of full power
Amazing to watch , live in Scotland too looking to get this or the cbr650r however this sounds more than awesome :) just got my A2 unfortunately gonna be restricted also.
hey, ive not had any issues with the police regarding a loud exhaust. its really rare you'll get stopped in the UK for it but i'd recommend bringing your baffle with you if possible just in case
What’s it like derestricted? Getting mine done later this year! Love the content. Also is this the domed GP exhaust? Looking at the same but hoping it’s not too loud for the neighbours ahaha
Lots more pickup in the mid range, decent torque up to about 6k then takes off from there. The exhaust is a SP MotoGP Stubby, some of the SP exhausts have different tones slightly from what I remember depending on the model. With baffle in its alright but definitely fruity with it out.
@@user-jh7uf2ej2w So does it turn into a different bike as people describe or is it not too noticeable? When you say takes off is that because you actually get a power band instead of when the restrictor sets in?
@@oliverburns5863 Yeah its a completely different bike, it's exactly like a powerband but lacks the top end of the RS. Trade off is that you get more lower down which is better for the road imo. I've not had any road riding experience on an RS so can't really compare the 2 in depth. Thinking of swapping it out for an RS once this corona is over and done with.
