Hyunjin's play with fire dance cover is very important to stay. During that time, he was forced to go on a hiatus for unnecessary reasons and rumours, stay was very worried but still hoped he was well and wished him the best. When Hyunjin came back from his hiatus, he published this dance cover, which made many very emotional, it was like he was getting back at the haters and proving that he is ready to fight for his name. Which is also why it's such a badass dance cover!! 🔥🔥

Hyunjin is absolutely a star. He’s a top tier dancer and choreographer.
This is basically Hyunjin dismantling his “prince” title. Since he has a pretty face, others often disregard his hard work and talent. Throughout the video, we barely ever see his full face, and when we do it’s always obscured by the shadows or his hair, or it’s a reflection in the mirror. At the beginning he started with this “princely” getup, then we see him throwing his cape away, and his shirt buttons come loose. Bit by bit, he unravels that “prince” persona and forces you to see him only as Hyunjin. He forces you to disregard the beauty of his face and instead focus on the beauty of his performance and artistic intent. He truly is one of a kind.

I’m not a professional dancer or anything but when I saw these videos I knew I had to learn the choreos. Specially the second one it just resonated so much with me and I’ve always been into contemporary dancing which he nailed completely by the way. People always call him only a pretty face but he has so much talent! Thank you so much for reacting to these, I’m looking forward to more.
2:50 he didn't cover Michael Jackson, but stray kids did a performance at SMA and if you go at minute 5:00 they will be wearing a similar hat and dancing in a similar way as well. That was actually my bias breaker moment. As much as I try to go back to my original bias, hyunjin dances and brings me back to that AotM dance 😅

I watched this an unhealthy amount of times(ngl), put this song at the top of my playlist, showed the cover to non-Stay friends and they watched an unhealthy amount of times and they also have this song on their playlists. Sam Tinnez actually sent out a tweet thanking Hyunjin for using this song because so many people viewed the og video so much after.
You should definatly watch Studio Choom Artist of the month Hyunjin cover Motley crue by Post Malone. They pick him the best dancer artist of the month. He is one of the best dancers on K pop.

When I watched ''When the Party's Over'' for the first time, I cried hella much like he speaks with his dance, his every move is a word that he tryna tell us... He said that during pandemic period they couldn't do their concert schedule and couldn't be with STAY for a long time and that break his heart so he decided to release this performance so that he can share his feelings with us... Thats why I love him, there's a special bond between STAY and Hyunjin, I mean between all members but Hyunjin is more emotional abt this... He's so precious to us I hope we can give our full love and support...🤍
Also, the first one you watched (Play With Fire) He wasn't at the group for about 4-5 months false scandals and rumors were going on about him.. :( Yeah I don't wanna talk abt this it still tears me up if you wonder, u can search the condition and what happened on true sources I can help you with that. So after all of these, he came back with this performance like reborn from ashes or more powerful than his old side because things that happened to him made even more powerful! Yeah he've been through A LOT, unfortunately still does.. We STAY hope that all of members can easily get through with that cuz we don't want any of'em get hurt by those selfish people..!

Hyunjin said that he made the choreography for the party is over because the pandemic was going on during that time and he really missed seeing his fans but he isn’t good at talking so he expressed it through dance.

Hyunjin is such an artistic beautiful soul. This man can dance. He does have some moves that mimic MJ and that isn't disrespectful. Its an honor to be able to honor MJ who was the king of hip hop and dance and up there with Elvis as the best performance entertainers. All kpop groups hold MJ in very high respect and mimic their performances to be like MJ. Their is another idol they call him MJ of kpop and that is Taemin. Hyunjin has done a Taemin dance cover for Criminal. There is a lot of idols who look up to Taemin who has been in kpop since he was 13 years old in the OG group Shinee but Taemin is an iconic legend solo idol dancer and singer along with G-Dragon. If you are going to get into kpop you really need to look up some of the groups or idols who are legends and helped pave the way for kpop to go international before BTS who since then paved the road in gold bricks.

No, he can dance different styles. He stydy dance in school and learn different styles for other students When he danced whit them. He has this own style, he is like a airy smooth liquit fire when he dance. He can tell a story and feelings thrue his body. He has said that dancing is one of his lanquades, where he can express his feelings.
