    Helios 44-2 fungus:
    Take between 8 and 10 lenses.
    Remove front and rear element.
    Scarpe the fungus into a plastic or metal container.
    Add a little garlic and butter.
    Heat the fungus on a low heat for ~6 minutes.
    Serve with toasted bread on a vintage lens cap.

    You have gone to the trouble of telling us NOT to touch the chemical, then you hold the lens with one glove and the cloth with acid in the other without glove...but, Thank you for the very interesting video ! Keep up the good work.

    Hello!
    I know you specialise in Russian lenses, but can you give me an advice on how to clean the rear element group of a Super-multi-coated takumar 50mm f1.4 with a m42 mount? There are no screws on the back. I’ve searched all over the internet for some instructions on how to do this but nobody seams to have tackled this problem until now.
    Thanks for the great videos, they are really useful, keep up the great job!

    • @ohhatu8081
      @ohhatu8081 5 лет назад

      In case it helps, ~25% ammonia is the same as ammonium hydroxide, and is often branded as just 'Ammonia'. Ammonia is usually found in construction and paint stores. You wont mistake it for pure ammonia, which is a gas at room temperature.
