No doubt about Lataji's talent and ability to sing any song and make it memorable , but alas ! nobody showed that Magnanimity. I still enjoy Sharadaji's full of energy songs. Wish we had few more than only few of them.

I personally like Sharda Ji’s voice very unique and sweet however the music directors that time had best of the best versatility available with Lata that nobody can deny so even as they say unnis bees ka fark and Suman Kalyanpur was the best example so music director always preferred bees and not unnis since they had bees available every body can not be O. P. Nayyar who was confident in rejecting Lata as his songs didn’t suit her voice and opted for Asha made it big success. As far other singers, there have been parallels singers during storms of Lata like Geeta Dutt, Shamshad and others. With all due respect to Sharda Ji having unique voice did not balance the ratio of demand and supply popularity as it’s a harsh cut throat business world. I always feel Suman Kalyanpur also was born in wrong era when she was left behind Sharda Ji is altogether a different singer. No point in blame game.

Lataji's ability to mould her voice exactly like the heroine on screen was unique and to my opinion , it was her strongest winning point.

In '67 after my annual exam. was over and the results were due, a student of middle classes, I went to see Raj Saab's unforgettable Around The World to see the world only expending 19paise( in those days 19 paise was the lowest price of tickets, the highest being 90 paise), but apart from seeing the world, particularly the US, what struck me most was the mistique and fusion voice of a young singer called Sharda ji! A unique voice of her own, incomparable to others, a voice, one could distinguish even in 1000s! A cute girlish voice of her own! In '60s she had been a constant threat to contemporary singers! Many music directors started avoiding her from signing due to her increasing popularity, but none could stop her! Who can ever forget her " Duniya Ka Sair Karlo", "Titli Udi Udi Choli Jay", "O Pari Kahan Se Laoon", " Jane Anjane Yahan Sab Hai Diwane","Chale Jana Jara Thero", and many many more! An ardent fan of her since my child hood, a tribute to Shardaji! You remain unique and unparallled to me, Mam

The main 8dea was to watch the whole World captured on celluloid and how I loved this movie , those beautiful songs picturized on equally beautiful Rajashri in talented Shardaji' s voice!!! Her singing style and voice was unique !!!!
