Bolim showed the most improvement in this show. And that high split she did in cherry on too made her more deserving to be in this lineup. Sure the others are more talented but she sure has more charisma. And her talent is just starting to blossom. Hyunjoo and jiwon who only knows how to smile, i dont know what theyre doing there.

Those two are not in my top 9 but they deserve their spot. my 2 favorites (Haein and Yujeong) are not in the top 18 but I don't think I should be doubting someone's hardwork. Hyunjoo and Jiwon have the idol standard and the mentors have said that before.
People are complaining about Jiwon, Hyunjoo and Boolim, saying that they only have "stage presence " so they don deserve to be there. That's not right. In one of the earlier episodes, Rain said that "if you're bad at singing (rapping), you have to be good at dancing. If you're bad at both of those, you have to be charming." So those are the main criteria for this show.

Joohyun as a trainee was emphasized throughout the show but for Borim, I didn't know that she's not an idol until I watched the entire show again. the editing was too focused on her learning new things from euijin that her improvements overshadowed the fact that she's not an idol. I guess people forgot about it like what happened to me and some of my friends. I think the editing played a very big part in the people's perspective so I'm guessing that is one reason. Plus people were bitter at the fact that Joohyun got a lot of screen time during the auditions when laboum, melody day, and dalshabet were only shown for a short period of time.

We never really know for sure tho. At first EXID was a joint agreement from two companies and each decided to split. Uji, Haeryung and Hyeyeon were probably taken and maybe, just maybe, they didn't want to.
