    I had a pack of EZDIY 120 mm fans, so I was able to fit one of those on the side while mounting the control hub next to the PSU. Now it moves air and had RGB (went red for AMD) Temps under load stay around 70/75 for both the GPU and CPU.

    • @bradfordskeldorado
      @bradfordskeldorado  Год назад

      Yo! Thanks for the feedback! This is all dependent on what you intend to do with it and if you find it around the current $400 price. I love this little pc for what it offers but if you're looking for high-quality graphic settings and something like streaming games then I would recommend going with something more powerful and adaptable to upgrades. This pc is great but it only has a 350w power supply so you can run the RX6600 but that's the limit you can go. It's great with this gpu but if you think about the $400 price plus a $220 gpu, then you could probably build one for that price that performs better. This is a lot but hopefully it's helpful.
      To clarify, great pc for light to mid level gaming and browsing, or streaming just a camera/youtube reaction content.

    My cpu was getting to about 80, and i noticed my single fan amd gpu was creating a lot of heat. I reversed the fans, so intake on back panel by cpu, exhaust on the side panel. Decreased my cpu temps by about 10 degrees

    • @bradfordskeldorado
      @bradfordskeldorado  Год назад +3

      That's interesting about the fan direction. These little gpus don't have much of a heatsink to spread that heat amd that little fan on them doesn't do much lmao. Not sure how familiar you are with computers but you could probably drop that cpu temp even more if you pulled the cpu cooler and reapplied new thermal paste!

      So as far as the factory cpu cooler, the motherboard has threads to install the cpu. Most cpu coolers have a backing plate and hardware that join the two together. It doesn't help a lot. This case is not designed for a lot of air flow but I will say you can fit a 90mm fan instead of the 80mm I tested. This short was made because people asked how to install a fan on the side so I just wanted to show that you could to help push some extra air. May help to adjust your fan speeds.

The motherboard is case specific, the power supply is proprietary so its only used on this pc and other hp pcs. If you have one of these pcs, you could use the cpu, gpu, ram and cpu cooler but that's about it. It would cost approximately $300-$350 to buy the rest to set these parts up in a different case.

    Would the Asus Tuf Gaming TF120 work if I want to have some rgb fans for both fans if so would they connect the same way?

    • @bradfordskeldorado
      @bradfordskeldorado  7 месяцев назад +1

      120 mm fans won't fit. The biggest fans you can use it a 90mm. The fan header is only 3 pin so it will provide power but they won't have controllable.

      The case I recommend a flat head and if you want to change the cpu cooler, I believe it was a torx or a star bit. The gpu should just be removing the rear screw and the little door opens and allows you to remove the gpu.

    • @bradfordskeldorado
      @bradfordskeldorado  9 месяцев назад +1

      It's not a huge performance change but it definitely allows for better flow. I did this because people we curious to see if I could add a fan but it's not going to drastically change your temps. It may bring them down 5 to 10 degrees but that's just due to allowing more airflow through the available areas. I hope this helps!
