Mine just keeps doing it and i know what the problem is. If you smack on top of your dash it should work again that means theres a little thing broken inside the dash gauge motherboard. Im bringing it to an electritian. If they know what to look for they can fix it or you can buy a new dash for 3k. Thats all i know
I currently have the same issue Changed numerous sensors. Just realized when you tap the dash it goes away. Does that mean there’s something in the cluster or just loose wire ? Been chasing this problem for some time. Really annoying hearing that low air warning. Your input would be appreciated.
I agree with the banging solution being a sign to an electronic board malfunction and my question is this, can I plug my ears and ignore the annoying warning bip knowing I have the required air pressure and consider this as just a defective sensor or bad wiring connection till I reach my destination? Or it'll trigger a more serious issue requiring the truck to really STOP?
Great video, that will solve TCS ABS LIGHTS ON as well, just need to check abs sensors on each wheel along the frames unplug them and put some dielectric gel on them. And good to go. Might as well check brake switch and replace that to eliminate that problem for good.
I replaced sensor nd agin after 250 miles same issue.. and when i hit the dash on top its normal nd again light on after couple minute... if you have any idea pls let me know
So I swapped the gage plugs with the sensor that was working to one that was not working and it’s still working so I believe it’s not the sensor that is bad but the wire. Was wondering if you ever got to fix the problem? because like you I don’t think is the sensor but the wire connector it self
Do I just changed the pass through your are working on but I have an extra wire with cone Tor not and can’t figure out where it’s goes and on top of that my cruise control isn’t working now !!? Any clues?
Send me a picture of your wire Twall194@gmail.com maybe i can help you. And if your cruise doesnt work hit your brakes pretty hard kind of slam it a little and see if that works. Thats how i fixed mine. Then i got a shop to change my brake light sensor and now my cruise works better. Let me know if that helps.
Honestly I have a rubber Hammer that I hit on the dashboard that fixes it I took my dashboard out and brought it to an electrician and he said everything was fine so there is just a loose connection somewhere I think
Ya man and the whole instrument cost $3,000 I took my instrument and brought it to an electrician and he said it was fine I probably just have a loose connection that's why the hammer works fine🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Turn key over and take off 1 by one and see if gauge turns off. Mine was left beside the green hose. But now i replaced it and it still does it. Then i hit witg my foot on the cover and it worls. Thinking its a wire loose connection i think
I actually found the problem. You have to take off your dash. Theres a few connectors. Mine is green and its the long horizontal one. You have to bend the metal a little so its a better connection. Email me and ill send you a pic. Truckertom07@gmail.com
Oh man theres so many sensors. I have no idea what all of them are. Horn and fan and all things running of of air. Think of it as a fuse but for air not electric.
My trailer pressure guage is showing over 240 psi and when turn ignition off drops to 140. Dealer trying to sell me whole dash cluster for 1500.00 without even looking at it. Could it be faulty sensor?
Its not a trailer gauge its the rear air pressure tank. You have 1 wet then 1 front and 1 rear air tank. Can you send me a pic probably can find my email on my about page. These gauges is something wrong with them from the factory so many people are having faults with them but only the rear one.
@@jmistret419 oh ok. I have no idea then. Probably faulty sensor. If you know where the sensor is replace it. Should be under 100$ then your cheaper than 1500$.
@@victorforeman2864 you turn yout key into on position so the gauges go up. Then you unplug a sensor and see if the gauge goes down. Do you have same truck as mine or different?

Yes i think a wire has a poor connection. Because ssensr and gauge work. So i jusst hammer on my dash and it works again
Great video but 1 question does that censor stop the secondary take from filling up?!?!
So if the sensor is off or out of the socket then it will leak air. Yes
Thank you 🙏🏻 boss..!!! Awesome 😎 video thank you for sharing knowledge with us ?!🙏🏻🙋🏾♂️👍🥷🍾

Did it affect your low air warning buzzer sound too or no

@Kevin Hanson i didnt fix the loose connection yet i just hit the plastic with my foot. That works but there is probably a wire loose.
Exactly
thank you i have the same problem i will go buy it right now and save some money 🙏

You didn’t show how you knew which sensor was bad.
When you unplug it and they is turned over then you know which sensor is for what.
