Thanks for the heads up bro! Never thought I'd understand that pretty easily enough. Now what's left is trade with your trick on Cex with high liquidity, coz I do wanna make profits from this lesson and about that, MEXC has got my back.

  • @PurpleHeartSti

What you're pointing out in the first example, after the consolidation and the larger bearish candle, is a classic liquidity grab to move higher. Hitting stops and grabbing that liquidity to attempt to push above the prior high. In the second example, with the wick making a new high, another saying to go with this is "wicks get run." So when you see wicks like that forming there is a higher probability that eventually the price runs through those wicks after (going back to example 1) grabbing enough liquidity to run through them. That applies in either direction. Have a stop loss plan in place (and stick to it!) for when the thesis breaks. on NQ maybe 5-6pts above/below the candle you're basing your following thesis on.

I use indicators in combination with price action and fundementals. After you do it for so long it's more like intuition. I don't ever rely on one indicator to tell me what to do. I rely on a combination of a few indicators, price action and fundamentals.
As long as you can read the charts correctly indicators can help tremendously. I use simple "stock" indicators such as EMA, MACD, RSI, ADX, ATR. that have been around forever and i have a 75% win rate according to this digital trade journal. My max drawdown on this acoount so far is only -73 dollars. (2k account)
I create a fundamental bias with fundamental data. So if fundamental data says go long, I'm going to go to technical analysis to confirm thatm. After confirmation I start looking for the best entries and exits using technical analysis. I use price action to see how price reacts to certain areas and then I use the indicators to help give me more information on what's going on in those areas. I also don't use stock settings.

Sir, In forex pairs SPREAD TRADING do you recommend use of CCI (say on 1H chart--cci 7,cci 14, cci30,cci50 values & add all these values on each pairs to spread & compare overpriced/underpriced leg). The pairs got to have correlations of at least 90%(say aud/usd &nzd/usd--aud/jpy &nzd/jpy--eur/jpy & gbp/jpy--gbp/aud & gbp/nzd etc.).Sell the overpriced & buy underpriced. This would give trader starting edge, staying power, size choice & risk control. You would be comparing deflection of prices summed up on multiple time frames(added up/robust) for asset A & B. Your wisdom is appreciated
