Thanks for the heads up bro! Never thought I'd understand that pretty easily enough. Now what's left is trade with your trick on Cex with high liquidity, coz I do wanna make profits from this lesson and about that, MEXC has got my back.
What you're pointing out in the first example, after the consolidation and the larger bearish candle, is a classic liquidity grab to move higher. Hitting stops and grabbing that liquidity to attempt to push above the prior high. In the second example, with the wick making a new high, another saying to go with this is "wicks get run." So when you see wicks like that forming there is a higher probability that eventually the price runs through those wicks after (going back to example 1) grabbing enough liquidity to run through them. That applies in either direction. Have a stop loss plan in place (and stick to it!) for when the thesis breaks. on NQ maybe 5-6pts above/below the candle you're basing your following thesis on.
A basic description of finding general supply and demand zones while evaluating trend lines. You make it easier to understand, thank you! I love the risk management with the tight stops.
Great video! I've learned a lot from your videos and will plan to apply this knowledge soon.
So far out of all the people I've listen to I like everything this guy has to say, and I'm listening to Five his videos right
right now everything he's teaching is helping
Bro you might actually be that guy who teaches this really complex stuff without making it seem so complex and without even trying
🤣
facts
It’s true
I was thinking the same thing
Facts yo
I've been actively trading since June of last year 22, watched tons of videos on how to trade and this is the easiest way to scalping. No need other indicators but trend line + moving your SL closer to price auction once you in prophet.

Thank you for spending ur time always. Pls more bro !!!
That ES vs NASDAQ futures dynamic is pure gold.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and insights. You have a way of explaining things in the simplest, clearest terms. As you've said in a past video years ago, this is a game of self-improvement, and I am constantly improving my mindset and strategies thanks to you. I trust you're taking care of yourself because, selfishly, I am hungry for more content from you.
Beautifully written.
Good stuff once again, Riley!
Nice video especially about moving your trailing stops and locking in your profits in case of a trend reversal. Salute!
Excellent simple video, doesn't make me tired after watxhing like the others
Great channel to learn technical analysis, crystal clear explanation, no fluff like the other channels.
An excellent video I have ever had; I learned a lot and appreciated sharing.
Very well done video, easily explained and easy to understand
you sir... have lit a lightbulb in my brain... You are a genius! Increasing the stoploss higher than the entry point.... man that is insane... you have changed my day trading potential to the extremities. Subscribed!
It's called a trailing stop loss.
I’ve definitely gotten faked out plenty of times, so I look forward to giving this a try!
Hi! Nice vidoe, really u teach a lot with real practice
I was waiting for another videos of you
thank you the knowledge is very helpful for beginners like me
Awsome video man. Learned alot=P
You can use the delayed reactions for safer entries.. which leads to trading allot of things not just 1 instrument which overall has more risk
Você é muito fera! Parabéns. Eu ainda estou sofrendo para aprender, mas sigo estudando!!!
@Riley you are my hero , thank very much for good strategy, God bless you .
My mentor calls it the R3 model. We use it to stack entries while it scares other traders out 💪🏿 🎈
Great video 👏
Awesome loved it 💪🔥
Bro i like it this video it's so simply and your explaining is so great and very simple keeps going bro 🤝🔥
Riley, I think You're the best day-trader on line, and I concour with your ideas 90+% of the time ... Very well done !
Riley, I just found your channel. So helpful! I use ninjatrader as well. How do you draw your reversal boxes? Is that an indicator or a drawing tool? Thanks!
Great lesson. I learn so much from you. Number 1 youtube mentor. I tell everyone about you
Hey Riley, what are your thoughts on using Elliot wave patterns and fibonacci tools to make high probability trade setups? Great job btw!
Thanks man many time i loose this chart pattern.. Some time i win., today i got a statergy from you.. Thanks alot.., you are simply amazing cheers. 🤑🤑🤑
I use indicators in combination with price action and fundementals. After you do it for so long it's more like intuition. I don't ever rely on one indicator to tell me what to do. I rely on a combination of a few indicators, price action and fundamentals.
As long as you can read the charts correctly indicators can help tremendously. I use simple "stock" indicators such as EMA, MACD, RSI, ADX, ATR. that have been around forever and i have a 75% win rate according to this digital trade journal. My max drawdown on this acoount so far is only -73 dollars. (2k account)
I create a fundamental bias with fundamental data. So if fundamental data says go long, I'm going to go to technical analysis to confirm thatm. After confirmation I start looking for the best entries and exits using technical analysis. I use price action to see how price reacts to certain areas and then I use the indicators to help give me more information on what's going on in those areas. I also don't use stock settings.
Hi can you explain if fundamental analysis have a role in scalp trading in 5min windows. I am just a beginner and dont understand it, i trade stocks so should i just google about the stocks? Sorry if i seem like a noob.
The best explanation about live candlestick fakeouts on RUclips
It's called S-curve trading first described in the early 1960s. What is missing is the probability of reversal vs continuation during the oscillation. Good explanation though.
I’m a beginner, can you point me to a book or resource that would benefit me. Thanks in advance.
i was waiting for this video brah!!!!!!!!!!
U can't learn trading from your peers without much trading experience. Omg...u learn it from pros... He doesn't even have MA lines. The trend is one thing the strength of the strength is another.
Good video. Thanks for sharing.
Thank u for sharing knowledge video.. Thank u from india... 🙏
This is awesome!
@RileyColeman, Do you have a video on your bracket or ATM strategy? Just curious at how many ticks when you set a break even point, and at what ticks do you start trailing your stop loss upward. Thanks
Thanks for the video sir.
This is great, thank you, which timeframe was this chart on?
Hi Riley, thanks for the helpful video! It is neat how you can put in orders on the chart like that. Which trading platform do you use?
Ninjatrader!
Would be great to have kind of weekly recap of your trades!
Sir, In forex pairs SPREAD TRADING do you recommend use of CCI (say on 1H chart--cci 7,cci 14, cci30,cci50 values & add all these values on each pairs to spread & compare overpriced/underpriced leg). The pairs got to have correlations of at least 90%(say aud/usd &nzd/usd--aud/jpy &nzd/jpy--eur/jpy & gbp/jpy--gbp/aud & gbp/nzd etc.).Sell the overpriced & buy underpriced. This would give trader starting edge, staying power, size choice & risk control. You would be comparing deflection of prices summed up on multiple time frames(added up/robust) for asset A & B. Your wisdom is appreciated
Thank You for update
This is quality material
thank you. is this strategy just work for uptrend or it works for downtrend too? if it does so in downtrend we should looking for a bullish candel in consolidation trend and then open sell trade?
Excellent informative video.
Riley, I've been subscribed to you off and on for at least three years. I don't even care anymore about the content of your videos, although I'm happy to see your resurgence. I just like you. I bet you would be a good friend to hang out with. You're so upbeat. I'm glad you found a new, more simple way to trade and you're making money more consistently. You deserve it. It just proves that if you have the willingness to stick with it, you will eventually find a way to become profitable in trading. Never give up.
It's been a long, hard but rewarding journey for sure!
Instead of trend lines, I believe it is easier to see moving averages. I like EMA's based on Fibonacci numbers (5, 8, 13, 21, 34, etc.). Enter following the surge of a candle off a moving average.
Are those the numbers of the ema's?
@@diegobonilla4542 yes, 5 period moving ave, 8 period moving ave, etc.
What do you mean candle off of a surge? Like crossing it or bouncing off of it ?
@@tiestobobfx, bouncing off of it
Used what I learned from your video today
This works really well with stocks that fall below the 20 SMA on the daily.
I actually recommend footprint to but yes prices work to.
wow thanks. I am a beginner who is learning in the nfc community. Hope I can get a lot of profit
I just got faked out twice yesterday as it broke my trendline, only to reverse, exactly as what your vid has said. Thanks a lot of this! 💯
Great video! What’s your opinion on prop firms?
I use the moving average to help me find the trend direction
Thank you for this video ! Can you please do a video on risk management ?
How do you get the chart to display the stop and limit orders along with the profit text box?
If I use Ninja am I able to use that chart program you're using? being able to drag a bar to set stop loss looks pretty neat.. and drawing lines.. really tempted...
want to start getting into making youtube videos. can you tell me what software you're using for the editing and making your face in that circle shape etc? thanks!!
Bro where is the link to your full day trading course?
does this also work for forex and for other timeframes?
Boss, for day trade what instrument you trade in 1 min chart? Sometimes you are showing in MES and sometimes in NQ? Lonn ago you are suggesting 2000tick chart for ES trading. I am little bit confused. Could you please suggest which one is good for day trading with a small account/
Hi.. what platform do you use in the video? I like it. 😊
My favorite options RUclipsR :
I tried trading myself and lost over 500 in a night, this prompted me to get an expert sir Arlo Eric to handle it for a commission charge and I have been performing excellently well with good profits ratio weekly, quite an experience for me
trading hasn't been a good ride for me though I am trying to be better plus combining it with work doesn't give me enough time, Can I have your trader’s contact to help me
I want to start trading also but very naive on the topic
Arloeric1 @
You can use his Gmal above to get in touch
Okay
Thanks much I have mailed him
Good info
Thanks a lot boss. My question: is your breaking even not too early?
great video
What indicator are you use for the TP SL etc in the right ?
Can you tell me a good broker to start trading with small amout of miney 100$ or should i invest in ftmo 10k challenge and is this mt5 that you are showing or ctrader
Nice Video, good Job. Where you Trade, i mean which broker?
So your risk amount is never the same then. Especially on NQ at the open in 2023 because your putting your stop loss at the bottom of the wicks according to the break out. Since this changes constantly so does your stop loss amount correct?
Hi Riley what program do you use for trading please?
Hello Riley, what Forex platform do you use?
great vid
So are you saying what you're looking for is a pinbar, then the market to exceed that pinbar on the next candle. ?
Great video ! q-n why do you prefer NQ to ES ? thanks
I actually like both! It just depends which one sets up cleaner or looks like it has more strength in my favor.
which currency pair is this on tradingview & m4 please?
Do you only watch 1 min tf, or do you have more charts that we cannot see?
Do you use vol ? If so…when ?
Riley do you still have a trading group, can’t seem to find info??
You know what Riley! we are not all on adderal like you I need my indicators LMAO
you should use volume to gauge steam
does this strategy works for other currency pair also?
do you have a scalping course for beginners?
What platform is that looking for a platform that I can move my stopliss like that
