P365 X-Macro, Or P365 AXG legion. is one really better than the other?

  • The great thing about the EDC pistol market is that there is something for everyone. Take the P365 Macro for example, we have 2 variants of the same pistol. Both pistols are pretty much the same minus some badging and an aluminum grip module. Is one better than the other?

The AXG fits in my hand like a mold! It’s incredible for what it is.
I don’t understand why so many people don’t want to spend a little extra money on something you could potentially have forever, and it’s the single most important tool in personal protection. Think of all the money wasted on crap you don’t need. Stop spending money. Tighten the belt. Cut out all unnecessary spending and go get the piece you want!!

You are forcing the roughly 355 ft/lbs of most 9mm rounds to exert a rearwards, upwards, and rotational force on a gun that is now 10 percent heavier with that additional weight being far from the center of gravity. Why is this hard?

The 'problem' is that the X-Macro Comp came out first. So now we have two nearly identical guns with the primary difference between them being the AXG or alloy grip module. Would I buy a 365 AXG Legion to get the AXG grip module? Absolutely not. IMO, the best bang for the buck is the Wilson Combat X-Macro grip module with the tungsten weight kit for under $100 for both - if you already have an X-Macro. I will, however, consider buying an AXG grip module if Sig ever releases an AXG grip module for the Macro series... but preferably in coyote brown.
