this came out at the perfect time. I don't know about Walmarts in other areas, but the one in mine just put some of their Pioneer fabrics yardage and quarter yard bundles on clearance. i bought up as much as i could at the time even though i didn't know what i would do with it yet, lol.

April I like your finished quilt. How very clever of you. How do you think of these cool projects to sew. Your ideas are great.
Have you ever made a baby quilt, or blanket, with different textures of fabrics? Velvet, flannel, cotton, or maybe furry fabrics. I bet a baby would love the feeling on their fingers, of silky fabrics. Maxine is sweet. She's a diva isn't she ? I love her colors. I never heard dark chocolate has lead in it. Wow 😲.
Guess I am sticking with milk chocolate kisses. Mmmm. Thank you so much for the video. I get the Pioneer Woman magazine, she is so creative. Love her family too.

I LOVE ❤ the way you improvised! Those other color blocks just didn’t work. I like it that you kept with the blues.
I have to tell you, lots of times I watch your videos twice because I watch the kitty and don’t pay attention to the quilt first time through. I love your quilts, don’t get me wrong. I just find cats (&dogs) irresistible!
    Have a blessed week!

Nice to see you again. I love 12 1/2” blocks. They make putting a quilt together much faster. However, star blocks, flying geese and square in a square blocks must be the January unit choices of the month. Every group I am in has those in the quilts! Just got through making 72 square in a square; burned out on those now. Think of you every time I see Pioneer Woman fabric at Walmart. Looks like Maxine wanted to give her opinion on your quilt? 😂

Love your quilt idea w stars. Being so visual myself, I relate to the making of all the different blocks, because one is fun, 30 blocks is work, and the frustration of putting them in one quilt that is cohesive, because they are all different. Might be why you stick to large Pieced blocks. I like that you chose to take a few blocks and add solid colored fabric, great option to showcase the pretty stars.
