Awesome! So simple and clear, you made an old man's day.
As another old man, I had a good laugh at this comment!
Very useful thanks!
That My Friend is a Nice explanation!
Thank you
Thanks!!! I have already Fritz 19 steam version. I didn't knew I cannot play online unless is guest. But I can do all the other things as the standard version.
@@realmadriddelfuturo7100 If you enter the serial key you should get 6 months of Chessbase Premium, which lets you use your own account name and rating
thank you so much, very helpful. way better than the official manual :D :D
Super easy! Thanks for the very lucid explanation!
thank you 👍
How do you play out a position against the engine???????????????????????/
sir can u make a video on differences between Chessbase 17 and fritz 18..and if one already has chessbase 17 is it waste of money buying fritz 18??
Hi Mohan, I am sorry I missed your question. I can indeed, and will be happy to address this in the near future. Cheers!
Hello, thanks for the video. I’ve completed all of the steps in this video, up to/including clicking “OK” within the “Set up UCI Engine” window within Chessbase, but nothing happens.
I’ve tried a few times…any idea what I’m doing incorrectly?
Thanks in advance for any input.
Did you locate the .exe of the engine you are trying to install clicking the (...) button?
@@chess_and_tech thanks for the response….yes, I did (Stockfish)
@@Kyle-ys3cv If the name appears also correctly (like 1:29), it should appear in the list of engines after Ctrl-K (2:03). If it does but still refuses to run, try a different compile/version of the file (PopCnt) instead of AVX2.
@@chess_and_tech okay, thanks
@@chess_and_tech Btw, I was able to figure it out.
But, the engines (both Stockfish and LCZ) are only running at 1 CPU…I noticed, in one of your videos, the CPUs are at 8; is that just due to my small laptop?
Using Stockfish causes Chessbase 17 pausing too much. The same engine parameters run just fine in Scid vs PC. Did you ever face performance issue?
I had to change the CPUs it uses to just 2. that fixed my problems
Thanks a lot
