Bonus Video! Yea you need to do a deep dive into Turkey one day. Which you will love because there is so much history and the long haul buses are the best in the world. They had wifi, air con, snacks and made enough stops for food and water closets. That's the perfect boat hat. Maybe next video you can film from your yacht with your proper captain's hat! That sunset drone shot 😍
Well I only wear the captains hat when I'm sailing a tri-deck yacht - it's a strict rule I have 😂. Those Turkish buses sound great, all the mod cons and a decent price too I bet. I'm sure I'll make it back to Turkey for some proper exploring one day - am certainly looking forward to it!
Yes I'm all good thanks, hope you are too! Unfortunately this was a chill-out holiday and I only made this video from the trip, Turkey is definitely a place I will be going back to though - like you said there is so much to see and learn there! Will be posting something very different on Sunday!
Incredible that the boat was only 3 euros. Was it coincidence that no one else booked onto it, or is that price to secure it for yourself? Loved the ruins, and even more special seeing them from the water as that's not usual at many ancient sites!!
Yeah seeing them from the water made them look even more special. Especially with the sunlight shining on them. Well I'm not sure if it was an official tour boat as I got talking to him in the harbour and he offered me a one hour ride to see the area.
@Matt Whiting's Europe left message on other vid, I'm the liverpool guy living in Serbia with partner. 4 of us, are doing Mostar, Perast and Kotor 3-12th August. Other 2 aren't a couple, musician friend fled Belarus and archaeologist from Mexico. It's breathtaking. If you're around mate dinner on us.
Hey Paul, that's very kind of you - sounds like an epic trip you have planned. I'm afraid I won't be able to make it but will let you know if my plans change. Hope all is well with you!
@Matt Whiting's Europe Hit me up if ever in Belgrade, hot summers, alpine winters, skiing etc. We're right in centre, Vračar, unfortunately opposite the school, that seen tragedy...take care mate, keep putting the miles in, great vids. Glad you njoyed the less travelled parts of Balkans. Neum (Bosnia), Budva ,Kotor (Montenegro), great summer resorts and Albanian.Riviera, beautiful too, Saranda n Ksamil. Stay safe
Thanks Paul, Serbia is a country I haven't made it to yet but it's on my list! Really excited to explore there someday, thanks for your kind offer - I will keep it in mind. Sad about the shooting, it was on the news over here quite a bit, what a tragedy. My thoughts are with all those affected.
Unfortunately I don't have it, I just happened to be walking along the harbour and saw a guy offering boat rides. It was somewhere close to this --> goo.gl/maps/LtQAMDSVykc7thrd9 Hope that helps!
The only thing I can think of is spending a bit more time in the ancient city and stadium - it looked incredible from a distance but I didn't spend much time there --> goo.gl/maps/7kLiC5jZjKBdbEqh8 Hope that helps!
Various invasions and attacks over the centuries, most notably by an Arabic fleet in the 7th century. To be honest this was just a quick video more intended to show the sights - I wish I had of spent a bit more time filming a full video talking about the history and exploring the ruins in a bit more detail. Thanks for watching!

@@MattWhitingsEurope okay thanks do you know how much they charge?
All different prices, for this one I paid £16 and they took me out for an hour.
@@MattWhitingsEurope can you recommend any other activities apart from the video to do in side

How the site was ruined?
