Hi everyone✨ thank you for all the interest and support on my recent very first reaction to Dimash! I'd never heard about him before one of my viewers requested my Unforgettable Day Live Perf. reaction, thus I wasn't sure if people would care for the reaction much - especially given that I've only ever reacted to Kpop before, so I didn't know if there'd be interest for something different in my audience 👀 After all your requests for more, I took a little break from studying for college last weekend (luckily it's not exam-phase yet) to film my first reaction to a Dimash MV~ I got a bunch of recommendations for lots of different songs, but what stood out most frequently to me was the mention of this song "screaming". if you have other requests, of course, feel free to drop them for me in the comments 👏🏻 I'm drowning in college-assignments for the coming weeks, but I'll do my best to film a new reaction when I next have an opening~ and for the meantime I have more of my usual kpop reactions filmed and as good as finished ^-^

But the performance that captivated all of us is "SOS d'un terrien en detresse" we knew him for that song. The reason you felt happy in my opinion is that as he said he has "love inside that won't subside" so despite the suffering, the screaming inside, the song really celebrates the LOVE! Dimash is a bearer of the message of LOVE! This is an extraordinary song, when I first heard it I didn't think much of it, but I now think it's yet another one of his masterpieces!
Oh Landy.. I am so happy of this reaction. 2 weeks back since you introduced Dimash to me I explored his music a lot and still exploring. Since he is classically trained and can sing different genres, his voice sounds different dependent on the type of the song he sings. His high notes is simply unbelievable. Aaawh, so sweet! Starting to explore Dimash at the same time when the reactor starts to explore him 😍, that's so great! Somehow I wish I could go back to that evening, back in 2019, when I first heard Dimash and my music world was shaken to the ground and turned upside down. I remember that I spent the night on RUclips clicking on every video by him and returned to work the day after, dead tired, dizzy, confused, instant-crushed, but with this satisfited grin in my face. Also Tonight Dimash is releasing a brand new MV aimed at the USA market called "Be With Me." This will knock your socks off as it's completely different from anything he's Ever done before. usually Dimash surprises most people their first five or six reactions before they just start to expect to be surprised everytime. You will see what I mean if you continue through all his performances.

That was a very honest and emotional reaction! It's like you felt it in the guts right? If you're looking for your Dimash's next reaction, definitely go for his new hit "Be with me" (Music Video - you'll love the editing, the sound effects and the movie-like everything, besides Dimash's fun side). Then you can listen to some of his renditions to "SOS (Slavic Bazar)" and "Love is like a dream", "Sinful Passion" - to have an idea of his crazy range (more than 6 octaves) and vocal technique. They are sung in French and Russian (look for videos with subtitles). They cannot be your type of music, but here again it's for the amazingness of his voice and artistry. There's no need to react to them if you don't wanna to, but it's worthy... it's an experience, a fruition. Other two amazing music videos are "The Love of tired swans" and "Across Endless Dimensions" (which is part of a movie soundtrack) Have fun!

Quairan Elim is one of the pieces where he is lamenting the death of one of his teachers from COVID-19 and he co- directs the video as mentioned. Later he does another piece when it’s composer died also from covid. Complicated story but there are 2 versions , the later one is to lament the loss of this composer so it sounds quite different.

Bei Dimash allerdings liebe ich diese Technik - es klingt zart, wie ein warmer, süsser Lufthauch. Ich denke, dass seine Stimme deswegen so ein Pänomen ist, weil er sie "einfärben" kann, wie es ihm gerade beliebt. Mach dir keine Sorgen, das Grinsen ist eine übliche Begleiterscheinung bei vielen Dears, sobald sie Dimash sehen. Egal wie tragisch der Song eigentlich ist: Ich bin schon dagesessen, heulend, war emotional total gebeutelt und habe gleichzeitig trotzdem grenzdebil vor mich hingegrinst. Und ja, dass er verboten gut aussieht, spielt wohl auch eine Rolle, dass die Damenwelt zwischen 14 und 85 seinetwegen gerade hohl dreht. Ich glaube, ich habe bei einem Mann noch selten so ausdrucksvolle Augen gesehen, wie bei Dimash. Das Spiel seiner Augenbrauen ist legendär, das sind schon beinahe klingonische Ausmasse! Personally, I don't like these "breathy" vocals either. With a lot of singers it sounds like something is stuck in the throat. With Dimash though, I love this technique - it sounds delicate, like a warm, sweet breath of air. I think that's why his voice is such a phenomenon, because he can "colour" it however he likes. Don't worry, the smile is a common accompaniment for many Dears as soon as they see Dimash. No matter how tragic the song actually is: I've sat there, crying, totally emotionally shaken, and still grinning to myself at the same time. And yes, the fact that he is forbiddenly good-looking probably also plays a role in the fact that the ladies' world between 14 and 85 is currently spinning its wheels because of him. I think I've rarely seen such expressive eyes in a man as I have in Dimash. The play of his eyebrows is legendary, it's almost Klingon proportions! He looks into the camera and at that moment you have the feeling that he has looked at the bottom of your soul. And then poof, you've mutated into a cloud of rapturously giggling protoplasm. Neben "Qairan Elim", das wunderschöne Landschaftsaufnahmen von Kasachstan hat gibt es noch "Know", das auf Island gedreht wurde, und "Love of tired swans". Beide sind auf russisch und sind sehr, sehr künstlerisch anspruchsvolle Videos. Auch wenn du dazu vielleicht keine reaction machst, es lohnt sich sie anzuschauen. In beiden Stücken beginnt er mit einem tiefen Bariton und schraubt sich zum Sopran hoch, was wahrscheinlich am Komponisten der der beiden Stücke liegt - Igor Krutoy. Der Stil ist schwer zu definieren, deshalb versuche ich es gar nicht erst... Übrigens: das mit dem Vogelgesang heißt Staccato😉🇩🇪

Yes you can hear opera stuff in his songs, he was classically trained and we loved that mixed with all the other genres he sings ❤ those notes that you liked at the last part are "staccatos". Dimash sings whatever he wants to sing so... rap, pop, full classical, rock, ballads. He has a LOT of OST too, soooo welcome to Dimash world. 👏🏻⚘ just choose what do you want to hear.

For those who love Dimash, another must see singer is Zhao Shen from China. Because of his small stature, feminine disposition and voice, he was often bullied in school. Never thinking that he had what it takes to be a singer, he went tot he Ukraine to become a dentist. While there, he was convinced that he did have a great singing ability, thus transferred his major to music. Thank goodness he did. As an introduction into Zhao "Charlie" Shen, begin with his premiere performance on the Voice of China singing HuanYan. After this first video, move on to his versions of "Memory", and "Time to Say Goodbye". For something different from him, watch his version of "Let It Go" and "Monsters". Last, but definitely not least (there is so much more from him), enjoy the videos, "This is Me" and a very unique and fun song (one of my favs) "Da La Beng Ba". His biggest success is the song "Big Fish".

it is just a great video and it has an upbeat melody so you can't help but have a happy feeling hearing it. I love as you said that he layers his own voice instead of using back up singers. Another great movie video he did is Across Endless Dimensions. From an Italian movie, since you love the cinematic part of videos so much you should love it. Dimash is just multiple facets, never the same. Every genre you can imagine he does, he can't be pigeon holed into just one thing. It is a happy journey if you choose to stay with it. I agree its a mistake for reactors to have subs on- tho i think so because reading them takes way too much attention from listening- it cant not do. I'd never heard about him before one of my viewers requested my Unforgettable Day Live Perf. reaction, thus I wasn't sure if people would care for the reaction much - especially given that I've only ever reacted to Kpop before, so I didn't know if there'd be interest for something different in my audience 👀 After all your requests for more, I took a little break from studying for college last weekend (luckily it's not exam-phase yet) to film my first reaction to a Dimash MV~ I got a bunch of recommendations for lots of different songs, but what stood out most frequently to me was the mention of this song "screaming". if you have other requests, of course, feel free to drop them for me in the comments 👏🏻 I'm drowning in college-assignments for the coming weeks, but I'll do my best to film a new reaction when I next have an opening~ and for the meantime I have more of my usual kpop reactions filmed and as good as finished ^-^

The reason you felt happy in my opinion is that as he said he has "love inside that won't subside" so despite the suffering, the screaming inside, the song really celebrates the LOVE! Dimash is a bearer of the message of LOVE! This is an extraordinary song, when I first heard it I didn't think much of it, but I now think it's yet another one of his masterpieces!

Since he is classically trained and can sing different genres, his voice sounds different dependent on the type of the song he sings. His high notes is simply unbelievable. Somehow I wish I could go back to that evening, back in 2019, when I first heard Dimash and my music world was shaken to the ground and turned upside down. I remember that I spent the night on RUclips clicking on every video by him and returned to work the day after, dead tired, dizzy, confused, instant-crushed, but with this satisfited grin in my face.

If you're looking for your Dimash's next reaction, definitely go for his new hit "Be with me" (Music Video - you'll love the editing, the sound effects and the movie-like everything, besides Dimash's fun side).
Then you can listen to some of his renditions to "SOS (Slavic Bazar)" and "Love is like a dream", "Sinful Passion" - to have an idea of his crazy range (more than 6 octaves) and vocal technique. They are sung in French and Russian (look for videos with subtitles). They cannot be your type of music, but here again it's for the amazingness of his voice and artistry. There's no need to react to them if you don't wanna to, but it's worthy... it's an experience, a fruition.
Other two amazing music videos are "The Love of tired swans" and "Across Endless Dimensions" (which is part of a movie soundtrack)

Quairan Elim is one of the pieces where he is lamenting the death of one of his teachers from COVID-19 and he co- directs the video as mentioned.
Later he does another piece when it’s composer died also from covid. Complicated story but there are 2 versions , the later one is to lament the loss of this composer so it sounds quite different.

Ich persönlich mag diese "breathy" Gesangsstimmen sonst auch nicht. Bei vielen Sängern klingt es, als wäre irgendetwas in der Kehle verklemmt. Bei Dimash allerdings liebe ich diese Technik - es klingt zart, wie ein warmer, süsser Lufthauch.
Ich denke, dass seine Stimme deswegen so ein Pänomen ist, weil er sie "einfärben" kann, wie es ihm gerade beliebt.
Mach dir keine Sorgen, das Grinsen ist eine übliche Begleiterscheinung bei vielen Dears, sobald sie Dimash sehen. Egal wie tragisch der Song eigentlich ist: Ich bin schon dagesessen, heulend, war emotional total gebeutelt und habe gleichzeitig trotzdem grenzdebil vor mich hingegrinst. Und ja, dass er verboten gut aussieht, spielt wohl auch eine Rolle, dass die Damenwelt zwischen 14 und 85 seinetwegen gerade hohl dreht.
Ich glaube, ich habe bei einem Mann noch selten so ausdrucksvolle Augen gesehen, wie bei Dimash. Das Spiel seiner Augenbrauen ist legendär, das sind schon beinahe klingonische Ausmasse! Er sieht in die Kamera und du hast in dem Moment das Gefühl, er hat auf den Grund deiner Seele geblickt. Und dann macht es puff und du bist zu einem Wölkchen aus verzückt kicherndem Protoplasma mutiert.

Okay, "Unforgettable Day" was still kind of a stray shot, but this time Dimash must have got you pretty good, huh? Personally, I don't like these "breathy" vocals either. With a lot of singers it sounds like something is stuck in the throat. With Dimash though, I love this technique - it sounds delicate, like a warm, sweet breath of air. I think that's why his voice is such a phenomenon, because he can "colour" it however he likes.
Don't worry, the smile is a common accompaniment for many Dears as soon as they see Dimash. No matter how tragic the song actually is: I've sat there, crying, totally emotionally shaken, and still grinning to myself at the same time. And yes, the fact that he is forbiddenly good-looking probably also plays a role in the fact that the ladies' world between 14 and 85 is currently spinning its wheels because of him. I think I've rarely seen such expressive eyes in a man as I have in Dimash. The play of his eyebrows is legendary, it's almost Klingon proportions! He looks into the camera and at that moment you have the feeling that he has looked at the bottom of your soul. And then poof, you've mutated into a cloud of rapturously giggling protoplasm.

Neben "Qairan Elim", das wunderschöne Landschaftsaufnahmen von Kasachstan hat gibt es noch "Know", das auf Island gedreht wurde, und "Love of tired swans". Beide sind auf russisch und sind sehr, sehr künstlerisch anspruchsvolle Videos. Auch wenn du dazu vielleicht keine reaction machst, es lohnt sich sie anzuschauen. In beiden Stücken beginnt er mit einem tiefen Bariton und schraubt sich zum Sopran hoch, was wahrscheinlich am Komponisten der der beiden Stücke liegt - Igor Krutoy. Der Stil ist schwer zu definieren, deshalb versuche ich es gar nicht erst...

For those who love Dimash, another must see singer is Zhao Shen from China. Because of his small stature, feminine disposition and voice, he was often bullied in school. Never thinking that he had what it takes to be a singer, he went tot he Ukraine to become a dentist. it is just a great video and it has an upbeat melody so you can't help but have a happy feeling hearing it. I love as you said that he layers his own voice instead of using back up singers. Another great movie video he did is Across Endless Dimensions. From an Italian movie, since you love the cinematic part of videos so much you should love it. Dimash is just multiple facets, never the same. Every genre you can imagine he does, he can't be pigeon holed into just one thing. It is a happy journey if you choose to stay with it. I haven't seen a live concert, would love to but probably won't get a chance to. I enjoy your reactions

Yes, Dimash does numerous genres- and sometimes even within the same song (I’ve given up trying to count how many are in his newest “Be With Me”, 5?).
Usually I mostly recommend live performances, but given your filmography background you might be interested in checking out some of his other music videos. Some particular MVs that come to mind are Qairan Elim (his directoral debut), the MV version of Know (a rather “artsy” video), or maybe even Akkyum (“My Swan”) (I’ve always appreciated the visual subtlety’s of that one).

I agree its a mistake for reactors to have subs on- tho i think so because reading them takes way too much attention from listening- it cant not do. And I feel for first listens you need to pay attention to the SONG not the words. I hate when all some reactors do is talk about the lyrics meaning or the footage and never even mention the song lol!
