Signal just got back up. Continuous rains from last night into this morning up here in the east rural st andrew winds worsened today now just squally showers and occasional gusts and like night follows day no light lol
Hi Dani'i, thank you for the update 🤝🇯🇲 We are experiencing overcast conditions and intermittent rainfall in Kingston and St. Andrew, thank God the system seems to be moving just south of Kingston 🤔 Stay safe and keep us informed as always 👩💻 🖥
Dani so happy to see you online! And although this was bad in the Southern parish's it coulda been a LOT worse! Did you lose power where you were or in Kingston in general? I was watching a coupla other websites that had cameras up around Kingston and it didn't look as though hurricane force reached you. However of course there's beautiful people all over that island and I know a few of them from back in the day as we have industrious workabees from Jamaica here in Florida. Yeah I love their unique English dialect. Again thank you for your coverage...
Hii Danii ..Mr Weatherman sent me here 🎉🎉Hope you recover from the damage done as soon as possible. With god as your refuge you will get through this❤❤❤ .and your amazing dream of becoming a meteorologist will definitely come true❤❤❤.
Good evening Dani'i. I do hope many are ready and we will be checking on you Dani'i. Dear beautiful Dani, Pensacola Beach, Florida is sending up prayers to the Gods and Goddesses to protect, restore, and recover from this Hurricane. 🇯🇲💚💛🖤🇯🇲
Hurricane Beryl rapidly intensified and attained category 5 windspeed. There is a question of whether Hurricane Beryl should be regarded as a "black swan" event. The answer to that question is no. 2 out of 4 of the following strongly favorable conditions related to rapid intensification and category 5 windspeed were met. 1. More than 500 nautical miles from the Equator. Condition met. 2. Windspeed at 19 kilometers of altitude no more than 50 kilometers per hour. Condition not met. In fact, at that altitude, windspeed was about 75 kilometers per hour. 3. Overall nearby sea surface temperature initially averaging at least 29 3/4 degrees Celsius. Condition not met, but almost met. 4. Other conditions collectively strongly favorable. Condition met. A few days before Hurricane Beryl struck the Lesser Antilles, an approximately linear region of very low wind speed at the 10 kilometers of altitude existed. Furthermore, to the southeast at that altitude was a strong wind toward the southwest, and to the northwest was a strong wind toward the northeast. That combination resulted in favorable counterclockwise angular momentum, as well as a Venturi effect favorable to intensification of Hurricane Beryl as Hurricane Beryl neared the Lesser Antilles. Also, Hurricane Beryl was moving in approximately the same direction that the wind was moving at 19 kilometers of altitude. Hurricane Beryl thus can not be regarded as a "black swan" event, since 2 or more of the above conditions were met. In fact, if initial sea surface temperature had been just a little bit warmer, 3 out of the 4 conditions would have been met.
Thank you Dani for the information I know you are trying your best to keep us updated please take care and be safe our prayers are with you and your family and Jamaica 🇯🇲 ❤❤❤
